food is great, nice as a gathering place or to just talk, I enjoyed even the simplest items like a Caesar salad that was charbroiled, i think it's the best place in Bath for casual food. I think the wait staff are dedicated to staying out of the way which is nice and there is an in house bakery.

Been here a while and named after the daughter. Go, enjoy local specials and good variety of home cooking and sandwiches! Soups, salad, crab rolls, mmmm and hold room for desert.

This restaurant with an imaginative menu offered many surprises. I had grilled salmon which was excellent served with riced cauliflower, and a tasty asian slaw. My husband had the lamb tacos also with asian slaw. Very good. Great desserts also.

We just discovered dinner at Mae's - it was first-rate, and not expensive, either. But, alas, it happens only on weekends, and only in summer, so soon you won't be able to try it till next year. We had a great meal. The lamb skewer appetizer was flavorful and whetted the appetite. My wife followed that with the lamb meatballs,... More

We went here for a brunch after a family wedding. It took place upstairs in a private area and we were served a buffet. Everything was very good, especially the cinnamon roll cake and an egg and spinach strata. After we sat down with our food more came out that wasn't there previously (this was about 15 minutes after people... More

We had read about Mae's, so we tried them for lunch on our recent trip to the Bath area. We were not disappointed. We each tried one of their special salads, which were loaded with fresh salad items plus (in my case) chicken salad. We liked them so much we went back for lunch again later in the week and... More

Although its business hours are 8:00am~4:00pm, my wife, daughter and I arrived 2:30pm and was told a table is been set up for us, 3 min later, a lady came up said they could not seat us because the chef are not taking any food orders. No apology, no explanation for the 8am~4pm business hours, only cold blank face. It... More

Lobster benedict oh my god so good!!!! Very good. Great place, worth the small detour from the road and from the more touristy section of bath. We will go back for our next visit for sure. This was the last lobster meal of our week lobster fest and was the perfect spot:) plus great blueberry scones to go!!

After looking at the reviews, we decided to go to Mae's for breakfast. It was very well, lots of variety. Waitress was attentive. The fact that it is not in the center of town helps being able to enjoy your breakfast, and an extra cup of coffee without having other customers waiting for your table, at least today. The only...
