Fresh, flavorful and delicious describes anything you wish to try and enjoy in this lovely spot up on the hill. The staff are so wonderful, and go above and beyond, which adds to the experience and being a repeat customer. Breads and roll choices are great - but get their early! Their bread toasted or used for sandwiches at home... More

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly knowledgable staff. Large menu with many gluten free selections. On my recent visit For lunch I had the Thai vegetable wrap with grilled chicken. I loved every morsel of this fresh crisp sandwich with a flavorful peanut sauce. My father in law had the Trolly which was an enormous grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, Lettuce,... More

Great breakfast and baked goods. Nice lunch choices. Amazing pecan sticky buns the size of your hand. This would be your go-to breakfast and lunch place if it was in your neighborhood.

Our first time at Mae's and it won't be our last. Very nice menu with a lot of interesting items, it made it hart to pick just one. Locally sourced food makes everything more exciting to try.

We were visiting friends in the Bath area and wanted to buy dessert for that nights dinner. Our hosts suggested we purchase our dessert at Mae's. I asked the bakery employee what she would recommend and she suggested the Key Lime Pie. When we had dessert and coffee that night the Key Lime Pie stole the show. It was absolutely... More

Stopped here for lunch on the way to the Maritime Museum on a Saturday. Place was busy. Service very slow but food was good. Easy parking and not far from the Maine Maritime Museum. A little tricky to find so use your GPS. They close at 2 PM - breakfast or lunch only.

My husband and I enjoyed delicious, beautifully prepared lobster salad on a toasted croissant at lovely, friendly Mae's Cafe. The restaurant was recommended by several friends who had either lived in Bath or visited this town and it did not disappoint. A visit to Bath is not complete without a meal at this fine establishment.

Been here many times we grab lunch to go and head to Popham beach. The food is always delicious, staff is very friendly. I don't eat meat or seafood and there are still plenty of options. I would highly recommend adding on one of their desserts to your meal! Oatmeal cherry cookie with white chocolate chunks yum!

We had another lovely Sunday breakfast at Maes. The homemade lamb sausage, served in several breakfast entrees, is tasty with a delightful zing. Also, consider the stuffed French toast. It comes with maple syrup, but that is not needed. Fortunately, it comes in a half-size; a wonderful way for two to cap off the meal. If you're into basics, try... More
