Local Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant

Cute little restaurant with a porch for dining and inside an attractive simple dining area with local artist's artwork for sale. We went to Mae's for lunch. My husband had the clam chowder with a side salad, which was very good, and I had a corned beef Rueben sandwich, which was excellent. Is a... read more

We were going to order a cake and finger sandwiches for my parents 30th wedding anniversary. I had it all set up. I called a few days before the party to find out the cost and the woman on the phone was rude and had a attitude. I spoke with Katie and she basically defended her employee. I decided not... More

5 of us visited Mae's in a Sunday morning. While busy we got in. Unfortunately all the porch seating was full in this beautiful day. Great breakfast items from The Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich " with bacon eggs cheese on a croissant. This is a knife and fork sando!! The Destroyer inlet was chocked full of Canadian bacon chicken sausage and... More

Adorable little find in Bath, ME. We had a delicious breakfast under a tree on the front porch. I had stuffed blueberry french toast with the sweet Maine blues - it was yummy. My daughter had a sweet potato and egg dish that was a full meal. Inside is adorable too with art for sale and tasty treats to purchase.

What a find! We happened upon Mae's on our way to the Maine Maritime Museum and had absolutely delicious lunches in immaculate surroundings, helpful (and knowledgeable) wait staff -- a terrific experience. Locals know this friendly place; make a meal there part of your visit to Bath.

Fresh sticky buns and coffee cakes and muffins. A step above the usual breakfast. Homemade CB hash. Nice Atmosphere. Eat in or out. Very reliable.

When Kristina Van Reenan opened Kristina's at this location in 1978; it became a regional hit with her opulent desserts, her renown quiche, and time tested 'Classic' recipes from estates, yachts, and resorts. It was sold in the 90's and one of her staff managed it, providing continuity. One thing you learn in the food business is to never, ever... More

Mae's has a great menu, the bakery counter needs to be on every tourist's at least look at and visit list. Bounding down for a Saturday morning BRC, our party of three dined on excellent food. My wife had an omelet, sister in law a pancake concoction that I am going to order next time, this write had an eggs... More

I knew Mae's when it used to be Christina's. It's an improvement. Mostly a breakfast and sandwich shop. They don't have a frier, so french fries or battered entrees. I had the tarragon chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. Good sandwich - and a a reasonable price. My wife had a crab salad sandwich. Tasty but a bit pricey at... More
