The food was ok...ribs were over done, way overdone, but tasty. Pricy too. I went with a friend and they messed up both orders having the side dishes transposed on our plates. I never got utensils til asked, half way thru meal, to eat the "charged for" subbed (small!) salad. On that point: the waitress said I could sub a... More

The food is good and if you have that urge for BBQ this is the place to go in the mid-coast. Great platters. Sometimes when full it is a little noisy....but friendly.

Fragrant BBQ aromas will draw you through the door to this family friendly Grill. It can get very busy and noisy during the summer and on weekends. Try a House Special for cocktails and entree's. They are always good and interesting.

We have visited the Beale Street Barbeque and Grill many times over the past years. Last week, we supped there and were again delighted with our entrees (pulled pork). However, the best item was the appetizer Honey Jerked Ribs, with ribs that had been smoked and then fried quickly to add a little crispness. This appetizer should be an entree... More

Went to this place on my birthday this year for lunch 8/6/2014 and it was so good. I lived in Oklahoma for 7 years and got used to real bbq and this place was the closest I've found to that in Maine. I love how they serve the meat with no sauce and let you sauce your own meat. Can't... More

We felt very welcome at this local neighborhood restaurant. We arrived early on a Friday evening and got a table right away and our food arrived very quickly. The ribs and pulled pork were good. The brisket was not what we were used to - more like smoked London Broil but very good anyway. We liked the BBQ beans. Our... More

If you are in Bath and want great BBQ, this is the place to visit. My only warning is it is a small place so be ready to wait for a table. Once you order you will be happy with the quality of the food. My wife and I shared the BBQ platter with ribs, chicken, sausage and brisket. The... More

I love to try bbq from a variety of places and so far my favorite is from a place called Danny's in Cary, NC. This bbq was not very flavorful and it was bland but to my surprise the Jalapeno cornbread was really great. Not spicy at all! We ordered the barbeque chicken which was great and the pulled pork... A great find in a land of somewhat unspiced foods. Beale's is a casual neighborhood place that welcomes everyone. The first clue is the big smoker that you pass on the way into the restaurant. The menu and the décor are real Tennessee barbecue. Choose from the pulled pork, the ribs, chicken, or seafood dishes, with great side dishes (cole... More

Amazing and unique BBQ options. I appreciate that their menu is not standard BBQ fare, but not so unusual that the average BBQ lover can't find something. Kudos on the menu and, oh, the meat is fabulous! They also have a kids menu to suit the young family members who may not yet have acquired the BBQ taste. Will definitely... More
