Just returned from a meal here. Amazing home made crabcakes,,and the pulled pork was melt in the mouth tasty. The staff were really wonderful and made our evening. Really recommend this place.

We were camping and got rained into the tent one night in Boothbay, nothing local was open, so we ventured out one night, after finding this place on TripAdvisor. It was worth the 30 minute drive in down pour rain. My 9 year old, who is a mac n' cheese expert, says hands down the best she has ever tasted.... More

We have eaten here several times and enjoy it as a little unusual stop for a restaurant in Maine as well as a break from seafood at almost every meal. The food is good basic barbecue and the combination of Barbecue and cornbread is a little unique. I prefer Texas style barbecue over this style but maybe that simply is... More

Wonderful atmosphere and great food, highly recommended. They are making me write 50 characters here so I am writing this because that is stupid, I said all that was needed, eat at this place.

I visited Memphis 25+ years ago and the food and music were fine, but I am not even close to an expert on the regional cuisine. And I have friends who raise a dubious eyebrow at the thought of a Beale Street Barbecue in Bath, Maine. That said, I've been eating there two or three times a year for a... More

Eating Barbeque in New England can be a risky business. It's usually wise to turn away at the door of such places, However in Bath, Maine: It's the Best Idea! Beale Street does it with simplicity and fun. Go for the pork spare ribs. A half portion should do the trick. The sides are all great, but as tradition has... More

If you close your eyes, the smell of barbeque and the sound of blues music will take you to Beale Street in Memphis. If you want a break from seafood and crave some barbeque, you can't go wrong visiting this restaurant in Bath. Very good food, great music, and outstanding service makes this place a restaurant worth going to while... More

this is a destination spot when we vacation form Vermont to Maine. The BBQ is amazing. We've never had a bad meal. The value is great - enough food for not a lot of money. One of my families favorite restaurants anywhere!!!

While this is a bistro and does not pretend to be a fine restaurant, it is very popular with locals. The menu is limited, but the offerings are plainly well done. The barbecue dishes are especially favored and delicious, prepared over a wood fired grill. Parking is readily available and the restaurant is easily accessible, with no stairs; it is... More
