this is a destination spot when we vacation form Vermont to Maine. The BBQ is amazing. We've never had a bad meal. The value is great - enough food for not a lot of money. One of my families favorite restaurants anywhere!!!

While this is a bistro and does not pretend to be a fine restaurant, it is very popular with locals. The menu is limited, but the offerings are plainly well done. The barbecue dishes are especially favored and delicious, prepared over a wood fired grill. Parking is readily available and the restaurant is easily accessible, with no stairs; it is... More

Hands down one of the best BBQ joints in Maine. Everything on their menu is great and rarely changes. They've slowly been expanding their beer selection too which adds the the overall experience. It's not too big of a restaurant and I've even been denied small take out orders when they're busy, but the food really is quite good. I've... More

Beale Street Barbeque and Grill is a fantastic find smack in the middle of Bath, Maine. The restaurant is super clean and tidy, they play excellent jazz and blues music and the food is so excellent. We had the St. Louis ribs and the pulled pork, both were delicious. Sides of french fries, coleslaw, baked beans and mac n cheese... More

We went in for dinner and ordered 2 sides of mashed potato, $8!!! Are you kidding??? The soup was far too over the top to be tasty. We won't be back!

First of all: good vegetarian options at a barbecue restaurant! The barbecue was really good, too. Good music playing, and not at earsplitting volumes. Good drink menu, too.

Stopped at the Beale Street Barbeque for a late lunch on our way to Bar Harbor. Between the four of us dining, two liked our food, two did not. I enjoyed my blackened halibut sandwich and my son enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. However, my husband and other son weren't thrilled with their ribs. The ribs were okay, but they... More

While the Beale Street BBQ could best be described as a local pub with above average food and an excellent music selection. The menu selection features BBQ meals but has a good selection of other sandwiches and appetizers. We ordered calamari which was fresh and lightly breaded, a quesadilla loaded with large pieces of chicken, and crab cakes. With the... More

My husband and I took our 4 kids for dinner last night. It was cozy and cute, the staff was very nice and attentive, it was roomy enough for us to not feel crowded as a party of six. My husband said his ribs were the best he had ever eaten, even in Tennessee. My daughter's fish was excellent, great... More

Food was great! Waitress was great! Local beers on tap wonderful. But if you have a party greater than four you may have a long, 30 min or more wait at dinner time before you are seated at a table.
