Tucked away at the bottom of town, this local draw features more than BBQ, in case that's not your thing. The quesadillas were very good, with a smoky taste from the way they had been cooked, and just enough of each ingredient to be interesting. This place is worthy of Bath, a diverse and fascinating town amid the beauty of... more

I had heard many wonderful reports about this restaurant and it's sister restaurant in South Portland, Maine and finally got a chance to eat there with family last weekend. OMG, the ribs were absolutely delicious from first bite to last! I loved that the BBQ sauce was on the side and I could add the amount that I wanted. They... more

After trying it for the first time in 2004, my wife and I are addicted. Their pulled chicken is simply fantastic, as are the pork platters. I am a big fan of their cornbread... more

Although Beale Street had jambalaya and blackened catch-of-the-day on the menu, the real draw was beef, pork, or chicken, smoked on the premises. Deee-lish! The half-rack of ribs with crab cakes was very tasty and filling (these are not wimpy ribs!). I'm not sure the HabMayo sauce does much for crab, but it was pretty good on the fries--which have... more

We ducked into Beale Street to get out of the rain and because it was the only place open. The place was bright and clean and the service great. The food was also excellent. My boyfriend said the blackened Halibut was the best seafood he had on the trip. I had the Jerk chicken even though the menu warns it... more
