While in Bath we had about an hour to kill before or dinner reservations. We wandered int Byrnes and grabbed a couple of seats at the bar. within minutes we had a couple of cold ones in front of us (great selection of drafts) and shortly after that we were conversing with staff, locals at the bar and even the owner.... They put a lot into making an Irish bar. A lot of neat things to look at. Beer selection was excellent. Food selection and quality were excellent. Live entertainment was excellent.

We met with a group at this bar. The staff was not very friendly and we had a hard time getting service from the bartender who was not very good at working the crowd. They need to look into a better bartender who is friendly, fast, and has energy for a crowd.

Visiting Bath, Maine and had our fill of lobster, clams, and mussels. Never thought it was possible. Celebrated our 43rd anniversary having dinner at Byrnes Irish Pub. And, believe me, we had no regrets. I had the clam chowder and a half corned beef on marbled bread sandwich. The clams in the chowder were tasty and tender. The corned beef... More

Great casual place for a beer and a sanwich. Super Pastrami sandwich on marbbled rye and a BLT. Bacon was special!

Great drinks and a cool atmosphere. The bartenders were very nice and there was live Irish music that was so good we didn't realize it wasn't a CD until we saw the man singing in the corner. I would recommend stopping in for a drink.

It's and old place with a 1977 motorcycle cop's last vestiges. It is dark, and looks and smells like a place that has seen one of everything there is to have seen in life at least a million times per event. It is not a nouveau replica, it's been here for a while. As you would expect, it is a... More
