Great place to grab a beer

We did not eat here but stopped in in for a beer. Fun Irish Pub atmosphere. We met a number of locals who directed us which sights to take in and they were so right!! I would stop in here again if I am ever in the area again.

Went on a weekday lunch time and were immediately greeted by wicked nice employees there, and we even pulled the stroller in as we usually do, they said "make yourself at home." We had sandwiches, chili, kids Mac n' Chee and a bacon Bloody Mary. All was great! The beef chili was especially tasty. Will definitely go back!

The place looks great. It's full of warm charm and typical pub decorations. The servers are fun, friendly and patient. The food is ok but dated, heavy and a little blah. Cashelmole is still enjoyable but the rest of the menu is searching for a purpose. The shepherd's pie misses the mark with too little meat and too much liquid.

The bar there is good. They have the usual irish suspects available. I was disappointed that they were out of Jameson, which should not happen at an Irish bar. The food was ok, not traditional irish. The sheppards pie was ground beef not ground lamb which is traditional. Also no fish and chips which seems rather odd in Maine. I... More

I noticed a sign in Byrnes window inviting all to the Sunday afternoon IRISH AMERICAN singalong. My wife and I were greeted by the "PUB SCOUTS" kazoo band and made to feel very welcome by all the locals. It was rowdy, fun, boisterous and thoroughly delightful. By the end of the afternoon, we had met everyone including the band members... More

Love this place from the minute I walked in. The Bacon Bloody Mary was a huge hit as well as the perfect Irish fare.

This place lays on the Irish thick, but it's fun and the food is above average pub grub. There were very few people there when we were, and our service was a bit inattentive, but the food was hot and tasty when we got it. Many interesting choices on the menu - too many for a single meal!

Just popped in for a quick brew one afternoon. The menu looked great, but we had already eaten. Decent selection of Maine brews. Nice and cool and dark inside, nice sunlit patio outside. Very comfortable pub vibe, but I bet it can get loose later at night, Friendly staff. I'll go back when I'm hungry.
