Great pub food

This pub was well decorated and clean, and the menu is a great mix of Irish and Local foods. The staff were accommodating to our small family with large stroller. The waitress seemed a bit frazzled and wasn't the most friendly, which was the only down side. The food was great and local beer was... read more

Took the family for lunch on a damp and cool day in Maine. The restaurant was fairly busy, but noticed there were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant, and they were also bartending. To say the least they were overwhelmed and really frazzled, and not overly friendly. We had a 10 month old baby and had to ask for... More

The waitress seemed a bit frazzled and wasn't the most friendly, which was the only down side. The food was great and local beer was refreshing. Very much recommend if... More

My favorite time is Sunday evening from 5 till 7 P.M. when Bitter Brew plays silly pub songs, patriotic civil war songs and blue grass music. Children dance and sing and adults have permission to be friendly. Monday is Irish session night, Tuesday is trivia, Winey Wednesday takes us "over the hump." I was sitting with a dear friend and... Took a break from overloading on Seafood and had a Reuben sandwich and a cold draft beer. The sandwich was delicious and the beer was ice cold.

All sailers should stop in Bath for a full day, at the begining or end of a vacation in Maine. Start with the boat museum, take a relaxing walk among the shops and end the day at the pub.

This is a great place to enjoy a few drinks, some laughs, and live music. We stopped in for a night cap on a Saturday night and the place was packed - looked like a mix of locals and visitors.

We stopped in to grab a quick lunch before going on to visit the maritime museum. The food was excellent. Especially the onion soup. I have had onion soup many places. This one was by far the best.

We stopped here on the hope we would find a local, friendly Irish pub and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we really liked the vibe of the place. We ordered the chili and a classic Rueben; both meals did not disappoint. In fact, the Rueben was probably one of the best I've ever had. Leave room... More

We were looking for a place to sit and relax and we found one of the friendliest places one could ask for. 1000s of mile from our house and we felt like we'd found a home. Even bought a t-shirt.

Stopped for dinner. Had bangers & mash and shepards pie. While the bangers were very good, the shepards pie was only average at best... too much potato. Good Bloody Mary. Prices reasonable, fast & pleasant service.
