Excellent bay side eats

Had dinner here after a park service boat trip to Little Cranberry Isle. Small "shack" reminded me of yesteryear. Very cordial staff, even brought us some bug spray while we sat on the deck overlooking the ferry stop. Lobter rolls were excellent, many large chunks and tasy sauce. Fries were also... read more

It's a mixed bag at this cute, simple, coastal snack place. We were staying in the area, so,had lunch here 3 times. Hot dogs are very good, steamed clams too. Lobster roll was OK, but I've had better. Skip the fish chowder and the, lobster stew. Very small servings for a big price and not that good. Crab cake sandwich was... More

Ate here twice during a Maine vacation in July, 2015. Remembered Maine-ly Delights to have excellent desserts. Very small place, but we were seated right away. Good choices on the menu - first time had a Lobster Roll and second time had Fried Clam Strips. Both meals were excellent tasting, good sized and served with French Fries and cole slaw.... More

We were hiking at Bass Harbor and decided to find a place on the water to sample the local lobster. We have a dog so we wanted a restaurant with outdoor seating and Maine-ly Delights fit the profile. My husband went inside to order and I settled myself and our dog (Andy) at a table outside. One of the waitresses... More

At the end of the day, end of the road, end of the trip, this was disappointing fare. Lobster stew with no other ingredients , other than lobster, butter and milk, ( no celery? No potatoes? No thickness? ...) but more than $8 for a tiny cup was the first letdown. A haddock sandwich that was not nearly as fresh... More

It is my 16th summer and I still love the Fried Clam Strip dinner and the Fried Clam Strip roll for lunch. Always the summer starter. Add a raspberry milk shake and enjoy the food and the view. Really like their homemade potato chips too. The menu has a wide variety of choices. We stick to the seafood items whether... More

We loved our time here and found what we needed for four adults and three kids (all under five). The fryolator they have is a thing of wonder - food is delicious and full of flavor.

If you want a very casual place with excellent basic food, come here. Granted the bathroom is a portapotty out back but that only adds to the ambiance ( there is a place to wash your hands!) We are talking about sitting out on the front deck, gazing at the harbor as you eat out of paper lined plastic baskets... More

A hotdog, hommade potato chips and a chocolate shake, a real one, make this a great place to stop for lunch. And lobster and chowder too.

I really enjoyed their crab soup! My daughter and I shared the fried shrimp dinner since we knew we wanted desert. We ordered blueberry pie, raspberry cobbler and a dough boy. My husband, daughter and I plan "rotating desert". We each would take a bite and then pass the dish to the left until we were done. They were all... More
