Fries with hot sauce

I am obsessed with the fries dipped in their homemade hot sauce. The rest of their food is good too. Good atmosphere during the day to hang with friends and have some drinks - however nighttime is not so enjoyable, in my opinion, because it is way too crowded and loud and hard to get a seat.

We happened on Paddy Murphy's after arriving in Bangor and had dinner there - loved it! Food and service were outstanding. When we returned, two weeks later, had dinner there again. If we ever return to Bangor, we will go back to Paddy Murphy's.

There are times when I can't think of anything that would make me happier than Cottage Pie and Guinness!! They do both "right!" here and the slightly run down dining room makes me feel like I am actually in an Old Irish Pub! Just doesn't get any better!

A very awesome place with excellent friendly service and the food is great! Best burger in town. The place was buzzing with happy people. We sat outside, but in or out, the atmosphere was full of positive energy. Will definitely go back.

A bit of heaven in our little city. Paddy's is the place, in fact my favorite pub in the entire country...sorry guys but once you have been to Dublin... The pub is amazing, such great atmosphere and the staff will knock your socks off. In for a pint of Guinness... Go no place else! They actually understand it, and they... More

Nice little pub in the middle of town. Feels like we've stepped back in time. It's in an old building with lots of wood inside- floors, woodwork and bar. Our family liked the fried pickles, Dublin fish and chips, Guiness stew and I had a Bangor burger. Finish it off with a warm brownie sundae. There's also a second floor... More

My wife and I were looking forward to a very nice evening. We had tickets to the Zac Brown Concert on the Waterfront and were looking forward to food and drinks before the show. We had been to Paddy Murphy's prior to a concert a couple of years ago and had a great experience. Good food good service and friendly... More

Live music on a Saturday night. Pleasant and attentive bartender, many selections of beers to choose from, and the best wings that I have ever ate. Had fun dancing with my wife and many locals. If ever in Bangor again I will definitely stop.

Good food, but crowded. Busy, but upbeat. Prices are fair for the quality and location. I did not get to enjoy the live music, however my kids love the chefs' window as we walk past on the sidewalk. It is filled with acton figures!

A very busy lunch spot. The food is very creative and attractive, with friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. There are also a number of different beers available and a full bar. Try it several times to appreciate it the most.
