Fries with hot sauce

I am obsessed with the fries dipped in their homemade hot sauce. The rest of their food is good too. Good atmosphere during the day to hang with friends and have some drinks - however nighttime is not so enjoyable, in my opinion, because it is way too crowded and loud and hard to get a seat.

My wife and I were looking forward to a very nice evening. We had tickets to the Zac Brown Concert on the Waterfront and were looking forward to food and drinks before the show. We had been to Paddy Murphy's prior to a concert a couple of years ago and had a great experience. Good food good service and friendly... More

Live music on a Saturday night. Pleasant and attentive bartender, many selections of beers to choose from, and the best wings that I have ever ate. Had fun dancing with my wife and many locals. If ever in Bangor again I will definitely stop.

Good food, but crowded. Busy, but upbeat. Prices are fair for the quality and location. I did not get to enjoy the live music, however my kids love the chefs' window as we walk past on the sidewalk. It is filled with acton figures!

A very busy lunch spot. The food is very creative and attractive, with friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. There are also a number of different beers available and a full bar. Try it several times to appreciate it the most.

My wife and I were spending a Sunday afternoon in Bangor, where we have family. We had a great stroll through the cute downtown, and stopped at Paddy's for lunch. The best thing I can say is how comfortable the atmosphere was, with a friendly staff and live acoustic music (at 1pm on a Sunday!). I had a patty melt,... More

Had to try the open-faced Rueben. While it was very good, it was a little disappointing in the portion. It was basically a half of a sandwich, just one slice of bread, with the sandwich fillings on top. That's fine, it's what I expected, but usually an "open face sandwich either has very generous "filling" (this did not, it was... More

The place had a olde look to it. Our waitress was friendly and knew her beers of which there is a very good choice. My wife got a wrap that was huge and very good and I had the Guiness pie. It was pretty good with lots of meat but had almost no vegetables to round out the taste. I... More

Paddy Murphy's is your go-to downtown pub. Great atmosphere, excellent entertainment, top notch staff. Decent pub fare at affordable prices and a good beer selection as well. They recently put in outdoor seating for the warmer weather!!

One of my favorite pubs in all of Maine!! Serving a great array of beers, this Bangor Pub serves a nice array of standard bar food and Irish Specialities. I really enjoy the atmosphere, which features live music on weekend evenings. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and the old style pub feel is wonderful for having a beer or a... More
