I have a pet peeve with Irish pubs who call themselves that, but have nothing to back it up. So happy this was the real deal! They played Irish music which is a must for these pubs and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The décor is very charming and the seating looked like old church pews-very cool! Lots of natural light... More

I loved everything about this place! The service was awesome, the decor, it appeared to have been there a long time and was authentic, the food was delicious, and there was a man playing his guitar and singing Irish tunes while we ate! I would spend a lot of time here!!!! The waitress brought out my Guinness and had made... More

Let's start with the best parts of our experience at Paddy Murphys. We were looking for a casual environment with solid pub food and that is exactly what we found. The prices for the food were very reasonable and affordable. The corned beef had great flavor. Unfortunately that is a summary of what we enjoyed. We ate upstairs. I am... More

Went here for (late) dinner recently while travelling. Located downtown in an older building, has character. Small restaurant area, only about 8-10 tables. Friendly and helpful service, prices were $8-12 for most entrees. The waitress also informed us that they have $3 draft pints of beer each night (Smithwicks for us). I had the pulled pork sandwich which was EXCELLENT.... More

Very comfortable pub in Bangor. The food was hot and the beer was cold - what more can one ask for? We had just missed the lunch time live entertainment. Locals must love it... was there twice and saw many of the same people both times. Try the fried pickles. Seriously!

Dinner at Paddays on a Saturday is challenging generally due to the limited seating but because they do a fairly quick turnover we were seated within reasonable time frame. My son joined us and they were happy to accomadate another guest. We ordered onion rings to start that were amazing. We ordered burgers. My husband had mushroom and onion on... More

I went here for dinner with my partner last night while on a weekend trip to Maine, and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. First off, the atmosphere is great. It definitely feels like you're in a neighborhood pub in Ireland. The service was really fast and friendly, and the servers were great at making recommendations off... More

We stopped here for lunch the other day and had a wonderful meal. I had the Guinness Burger and it was wonderful. Cooked just the way I asked, the bacon was perfect, and the Guinness BBQ Sauce was a great addition. My husband had Paddy’s Club and he loved it. It had real slices of turkey, crisp bacon, the garlic... More
