Great local bar with live music

We stopped in on a Wednesday night after dinner. The live music was loud, the bar was packed and everyone was having a great time. The bartenders were busy, but quick to get to you and drink prices are reasonable.

What a great place to sit and relax. The food is excellent, especially the sweet potato fries. Wonderful beer, friendly atmosphere, its a place you can visit over and over again.

Great spot.. my lady and I wanted to go out of town for the night. We stopped at this place and it was fun.. atmosphere was good. The menu looked good. But being a bartender myself... I like the fact Matt was very helpful. Gave us info we needed to know about the town. And did not pressure us into... More

The service and atmosphere was so welcoming. The beer was cold and the burger delicious. It is very rare to receive quality food AND service at an off hour(3 pm) Thank you

Classic Irish Pub. Friendly staff. They were very busy but everyone seemed to be welcome and treated as a regular. I will definitely be back next trip. Hot BBQ was good. Shame I was working a nice pint of Smithwicks would have hit the spot.

Really enjoy the food here. Service is quick, and there is a very homey atmosphere. We go here at least 2 times per month for lunch and dinner.

The atmosphere at Paddys is great! Old Irish Pub feel with a magnificent bar, long booths, high or low tables, lots of games and coffee table books in the deep window sills, a gorgeous tin ceiling, good food and drinks.... I love their mushroom soup!

I've been to this place a lot since my first encounter upon moving up to Bangor in July. It's a great option for a low key dinner or lunch and I've frequented Paddy's for their trivia nights as well as a fun place to hangout on weekend nights. I definitely recommend it to locals and out of towners alike for... More

Great food and service, but not a quick "in and out" experience. This isn't a bad thing! Just make sure you have the time for it. I usually detest french fries, but I loved theirs! My mother was over the moon with her burger. Cooked just right. It's hard to get a burger cooked "medium" when you order it that... More
