Great place as always

Dysart's has been around for many years, (I went there when I was a kid back in the 70s), and the food is as good as it was back then. Some people may be put off because it is a truck stop, but they shouldn't be. If you want good food, large portions and for a very reasonable price, this... read more

Don't be misled by the Truck Stop appearance of this place... oh yes, it is actually a truck stop... but it serves the biggest breakfasts off of route 95 just south of downtown Bangor. The short stack was breakfast yesterday AND today.... Cinnamon rolls a meal in and of itself... friendly staff & super speedy for the folks trying to... More

The food here is delicious. There is lots to choose from. The staff are friendly and the price was right. If you like pancakes this is your place. They are huge and one is enough.

This truck stop, diner-type restaurant has fantastic breakfasts, and great service. The pancakes are huge; one is really enough. The blueberry pancakes are awesome, as well as the Maine maple syrup, which is extra and worth it!

I hadn't been here in atleast 7 years, and my return trip did not disappoint! For 2, we waited about 20 minutes to be seated at 11 am on a Saturday, not bad at all. Servers were friendly and the food was quick. It's like home cooked food, delicious and fresh. We ordered a cinnamon bun with frosting, hubby had... More

The food was good and so was the price. We did not leave disappointed! The atmosphere was quite comfortable with lots of elderly folk present.

You need Dysart's blueberry pie to make a trip to Maine complete. I know it's a truck stop, but all the food is quite good. Good dinners. To die for corn beef hash and all kinds of pies.

We stopped on the way to Canada for breakfast and on the way home for supper. The breakfast meals we tried were the truckers and the hash and eggs. Both meals were good and the coffee was good as well. The bread is home made. The servers are friendly and attentive. We decided to stop on way back to try... More

Extensive diner menu, all well-prepared. Open 24x7, and has branches as well, offering the same menu, and most of the same baked goods, which are also excellent. Best breakfast place in the Bangor area, whatever time of day you want breakfast. Home site is a large truck stop with 18-wheelers in profusion and truckers enjoying the facilities most any time...
