What we have here is classic low-budget Maine diner food. Big fat burgers, frozen French fries from Sysco, fried liver and onions, meatloaf, all kinds of breaded and fried seafood, daily specials. First impression this Sunday at 10 am was that the breakfast buffet was a mess. Obviously they had been busy and no one kept it neat and clean. Second impression was slow and inattentive service. Third impression was luke warm food (we ordered off the menu). We were also put off as our wait person was bussing a table next... More

Went during half price breakfast promo.Restaurant busy but not full.Server Dean very pleasant but had to wait a half hour, then ask for coffee refills.Coffee is $1.89 a la carte. Drink prices not on menu-odd.Breakfast very good and served quickly-but does NOBODY know how to fluff scrambled eggs anymore instead of chopping them into unrecognizable bits?Potato pancakes well worth the dollar... We weren't really impressed with the food. We could take it or leave it. But the train overhead in the dining room was pretty cool.

We ate at the Governors restaurant in Bangor, ME because my mom always liked this place and we really enjoyed it as well. The food was great and the waitress that we met there was absolutely awesome. We small talked and she did the same like we had known her for years. After the dinner we decided to try out... More

Govenor's is offering specials all summer long. We went on a Monday in June and got $3.00 Burger and fries. There were 9 of us in the party and this special saved us a lot of money. They offer different specials each day. This location is always busy so it is best to go slightly before or after typical meal... More

Went there for dinner one night. The place was really crowded as they had a burger special (which they actually ran out of when we were there). We were seated fast and got drinks fast. But the service to get the food was very slow (probably because of the burger special which it looked like alot of people were go... More
