Pleasant and Satisfying

Geaghan's offers satisfying pub fare, with some of the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. If you are of Irish heritage, you'll appreciate all of the unique Irish memorabilia and pub decor. It may also interest you to note that Geaghan's is right across the street from the Paul Bunyan Statue.

Ok. If you want a place for microbrew and alcohol, this is a place to be. If you are looking for Irish history, this is the place to be. The food was expensive if you consider how much get. Which is fine, if the food is good. But, the food is bland and my fries were burnt. The service is... More

We were excited to visit Geaghans Pub for a pre-concert dinner. The waitress was good about answering out questions about the buffalo wings, and even checked with the kitchen twice on different issues. We did not choose the wings because they were breaded and though they would have accommodated garlic wings, they use margarine rather than butter. We tried their... More

Excellent waitress!! Make sure you ask for a sampler of beer before you order a full glass- very tasty. And do not miss the Reuben!! This is a revisit when we are in the area again

The service and food are OK. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. I felt like the staff was distracted and inattentive. Our waitress was around and the restaurant wasn't busy but it took her a long time to get back to us after we were done eating.

Geaghan's restaurant is not far from Bangor International Airport. The atmosphere is okay, but just that. But the veggie burger, said to be among the best in Maine, is truly excellent. I knew Bangor International wouldn't have much to eat, so I ate here and had a nice meal.

Geaghan's is the best family spot in town. The staff is wonderful, the food is consistently delicious (try the zippity doo dahs for an appetizer!!) and their beer, made by their Geaghan Brothers Brewing Company line, is amazing!

Never disappointed when I go here. Very low key with great food. They are known for their wings and are DELISH. parking is a little tight at times bc it's attached to a hotel (and right next to a casino) you have a stroll right next to waterfront when you are done your meal as well. Server was friendly as... More
