Great beer, good food.

Absolute best place in Bangor for beer brewed on-site (you can look through big windows in the dining room to see the whole operation). I have had more than 10 of their brews and I recommend Rollin' Rosie (DIPA) and Dad's Oatmeal Stout. Any time they have a single hop brew, you should grab that... read more

Famous for their beer and boneless chicken wings. Other food is good as well. Good place to get a fun evening started.

Stopped by for breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised to find more than standard breakfast fare - the chieftain omelet is filled with pub cheese and their boneless buffalo wings and very good. Paddy cakes are potato pancakes with an egg on top. Both came with toast or muffin, which were also very good. Menu items include Irish/beer/Geaghan's Pub Cheese... More

Delicious pub fare, excellent craft beer, and wonderful servers. Love that wine and cocktails are also available. Always a friendly crowd there. Highly recommend!

Have been driving by this place at off hours and have never been able to get in. Stopped a local police officer one morning looking for a place to eat and he said that it is a GREAT place to eat, so it MUST be good...and it was!!! This is an eclectically decorated Irish pub restaurant and crowded with the... More

Geaghans is a watering hole for the local drunks. Place smells like old booze. Very drab and outdated decor. And then there's the breakfast. Subpar cooking, mediocre portions, and Keneen or whatever the waitress name was has the personality of a rattle snake. I am sorry that I wasted my time and money.

As a regular to the area I never paid much attention to the place because its next to the casino and I assumed it was just attracting the same crowd. A friend talked me into meeting her for dinner one night and boy was I surprised. Its a great local hang out and what a great atmosphere. The food was... More

Service was excellent! Felt very welcome and the wait staff was very accommodating. Their home brewed beers were all fantastic and worth sampling; go check them out! Unfortunately I was so disappointed with the food that I ended up re-ordering my meal twice (three meals) and still couldn't find something worth eating. Caveat: I did not sample their wings, which... More

Great bar area. I prefer to sit in the bar. Servers are always nice. Its typical pub food..burgers..fries...which are good. Bar makes nice drinks. Has good beer selection. Restaurant is soso...bar is better. Could be updated some. Good for families as well (restaurant). Worth s top. Now I do not consider ANY restaurant in Bangor as spectacular...they all need some... My husband and I recently wanted fish, and since our favorite seafood place recently closed, we decided to give Geaghan's a try. We each got 2 very small pieces of fish, and it was served with their hand cut fries, which were limp, soggy and luke warm. Never again!!
