Don't get fish 'n chips!

My husband and I recently wanted fish, and since our favorite seafood place recently closed, we decided to give Geaghan's a try. We each got 2 very small pieces of fish, and it was served with their hand cut fries, which were limp, soggy and luke warm. Never again!!

Everyone in the area knows that Geaghan's has the best Wings, but everything on the menu is outstanding. Waitresses are terrific as well.

We came here for breakfast with our family, and had such a good experience that we came back for dinner a few days later. The breakfast food was fresh, well cooked and generous. The dinner menu is sandwich-heavy - it's a brew-pub that does comfort food - but the food is well prepared, the portions generous and the options numerous,... More

Food was bland and beer lacked an excitment. Have frequented many breweries in Ca and NY. Was disappointed with the beer and the flavor of the food. Beer lacked a body with flavor!

Despite being located inside the Fireside Inn, Geaghan's is most definitely a local hangout. I don't drink beer, but apparently their microbrews are great. I stayed at the Inn for two nights, and found myself having a nightcap here both nights.

We went here for breakfast and were sat very quickly. The server was very nice, My girl ordered the Patty cakes and I ordered the Chieftain with the pub cheese and the hottest sauce they had.The food came quickly and was hot. we never had to ask for a refill of coffee or eater. Our server was on it. The... More

I was in town in late November for a football game at Husson University in Bangor. We looked for a good place to get breakfast, and this was suggested by all of the popular sites. We had a good, but not great breakfast -- filling, but not terribly flavorable. I would recommend this again -- but I might try other... More

I love this place. The food is good, drinks are good and great atmosphere. Prices are good for the area as well. Only suggestion would be to have some sort of drink specials.

While stay at the Fireside Inn I ate at Geaghan's quite a bit. Breakfast is hearty and delicious. There were plenty of choices for lunch. The pub cheese sooooo good. I love their onion rings and burgers. There is a large selection of the beer and ales. The service is friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable. Whenever I visit... More

I get cranky if I'm a couple of hours late getting a meal and was just at cranky stage when we passed Geaghan's, so we stopped. The place was mobbed at 2:00 Sunday afternoon, but Cathy our server quickly arrived at our table to take our order. Our beers came quickly, as did our food. My wife and I both... More
