Decent food, decent beer and decent prices, service was good. Expected better than average beer from a bar that brewed their own beer. Their best beer , in my opinion, was one they brewed in conjunction with Orono Brewing Company for Bangor Beer week. Agree that it looked like a local favorite. Tucked in the back of a motel just... Our waitress was very good and very happy. We were in Bangor to go the Harvest Festival, that was great. Needed lunch and Geaghan's is across the street. Very busy, that's good. Thought the Reuben looked good and our happy waitress said it was…rubber corned beef, and soggy bread. It was terrible. The other meal was the beef and stout... More

Went to Geaghan's on a Sunday night to eat. The place had quite a few people there for a Sunday! I like the decor- very Irish plus it sits near the old Maine Central Railroad's roundhouse used to be. I like the bit of history thrown in. They have a large painting of the owner and his kids at the... More

This is a family oriented restaurant that also found it footing in creating fabulous local beers. You cannot miss getting a great meal and enjoying a great time in this Irish Pub. Try the beers and enjoy some great wings, or branch out into a fabulous selection of burgers or other excellently cooked pub style foods. Try the beers made... More

I have been here several times now and I always find the food to be very good. Sometimes it takes a while to get seated and I wonder if the staff is really properly trained on managing a wait list. The food is good, solid fare, and the portions fairly large. Particularly like their prime rib. They recently stopped serving... More

We had a short wait for 4 on a Saturday afternoon. It took a while to get water, but our waitress even offered to brew me some iced tea and it was good! My SIL suggested the Reserve Boneless Wings. They were amazing, just the right amount of sweet and hot, and 2lbs fed 3 of us.One friend had the... More

Was told I had to wait to be seated at the bar. Then watched people walk in and sit at the bar. 30 minutes later sat in a half empty room. Oh well food was impressive. Boneless wings with signature sauce is to die for. Service was horrible but food is crazy good.

Thank Joseph B
