Greeted by a lovely woman who asked if we had a reservation which we did not. After a minute she asked if we minded eating at the bar which we did not mind. Were seated and served drinks promptly. Drinks were very excellent, but a bit pricy. Bread was a great texture and my dish which had sausage was outstanding.... More

I had the lamb chops special and I am not sure if that is served everyday. I haf lamb chops before but today they were exceptionally cooked to perfection! I can tell you that it was seasoned well. Compliments to the chef! Our waitress was attentive as well.

We visited as a celebration dinner for our 10year old foodie daughter. We were treated to exceptional service and great food. Our waiter treated our daughter as the little adult she was. The cheesecake for dessert was a highlight.

We visited Massimo's shortly after it opened. The food was good, but they had just started. Now several years later, we had occasion to visit Massimo's again. The setting is Spartan, the tables protected by brown paper table wraps, but after that, everything was first-rate. The special list was extensive. The four of us each had different dishes. All were... More

The food was amazing but the restaurant has wooden floors and there was a large party seated next to us and they were LOUD! However, after they left it was a very nice atmosphere. The antipasti was the best we ever had followed by truly great food. We declined dessert but our server brought us mini cannoli anyway and we... More

I don't know how to make this short and sweet.....this restaurant had Italy and welcoming warm hearts coming out of its pores. My husband and I wanted to try a new restaurant. We were a little hesitant as we were out of our professional attire and dressed quite casual, but we decided to go ahead in anyway. Massimo and his... More

Not since the passing of the famed New York Italian eateries ... Orsini's ( a Jackie O favorite) and Romeo Salta, have I enjoyed an Italian meal in the United States as I did at Massimo's. The pasta, salads, breads and a perfectly executed extra dry martini made for a superb meal. I can hardly wait to return. The ambiance... More

Friends highly recommended this place so I was looking forward to a good meal by a chef owner from Italy. Starting with my "lightly dirty" martini which was half olive juice and not drinkable..on to the bread which was rubbery although the olive oil was excellent..my appetizer of eggplant was smothered with cheese and sauce which hid the taste of... Let me preface this by saying I've visited Massimo's a few times before, mostly on business, and came away with the impression that it was a better than average restaurant, with good food. Last night's experience dramatically changed that impression. The adventure began when I called at 5:10pm to see if we could reserve a table for 7pm. I'd have... More

Service was friendly and attentive. Wine list is reasonable; maybe too reasonable, we went through 1 1/2 bottles. My meal was excellent. Companion should have sent her's back. The "flamed" shrimp were overcooked and dry. Salads were good and larger than expected. Bread is to die for.
