Ordinary Italian Food.

Not much to like here. Food is nothing special, service is poor and venue is so loud you can't hear people at the same table. Go instead to Tesoro around the corner and you won't go wrong.

Our first night in town on this particular visit and we were able to be seated at their last seating. The atmosphere is tranquil and we were never rushed. Our server had a very clear understanding of how each dish was prepped and made excellent recommendations after assessing our desires. The only disappointment was that they ran out of the... More

We were a bit skeptical about going here since the reviews were a bit mixed, but I am so glad we did. I must say this was one of the better meals I've had! There were four of us for dinner, and everyone was impressed. We had the Zuppa Di Cozze for an appetizer which was delicious...my husband had the... More

Visited on a Saturday night February . Called and was told it was full for the night. I had taken the night off just to dine at massimos, so we came in to try to get in and the hostess found a cancelation for us. Food was incredible as usual and we were treated like royalty! Very impressed with the... More

The staff is very cheerful and makes you feel right at home. The drinks and portions are generous and the food is fantastic. It is a sure bet for a great night out.

Immediately you know they are trying to be sophisticated but it lacks any kind of atmosphere and design. It looks like someone went to flea market pick and dropped at this restaurant. The service was no better than a McDonald's and the food was horrible. The menu was well written, it's too bad the food didn't taste as good as... More

This place is equivalent to many fine dining restaurants and trattorias in Italy (I was stationed in Naples for 2 years). Great atmosphere. You get the food how the chef prepares it, not customized. My wife and I shared the prosciutto, mozzarella picante, and mixed olives - all perfect, plenty of prosciutto. For dinner we each had a glass of... More

We visited Massimo's on 12-27-14. It was a Saturday night and they were fairly busy but still had available tables. I loved they look of they place. I thought entering though the courtyard was really cool, this made me more excited to try a new place. Then everything changed when we entered. We were asked if we had called 45mins... More

A restaurant you can always depend on for a terrific meal. From antipasta to dessert (and everything in between) we are never disappointed. Sometimes parking can be a challenge but never enough to stop us from dining here. The waitstaff is always helpful explaining the daily specials and even items on the menu. The owners stop by and chat to... More

I sputter and fuss about the no reservations for parties under 7 rule but then we only were seated 10 minutes after the time I requested and hour before. The evening was very busy with a large party and, the sign of a well run establishment, there were empty tables to allow the kitchen to serve all the diners. Our... More
