Excellent home cooking

We love to have lunch here. It is where the locals go. It is in the middle of Antique alley so if you are shopping it is a nice place to rest and get a good meal. Dessert is included in your special. Daily specials change. We were there on a Friday during Lent last year. . There was no... read more

I always go to Kayla's for lunch when in town. It's a place all the locals eat and the food is good home cooking. Except a main dish, 2 sides, roll and desert for a very reasonable price. Not real a fancy place but the food is always good.

Kayla's Kitchen is a delight to visit. It's not fancy, but it is fun. The home cooking is always good. Old friends and acquaintances gather in abundance and have a good time. When I last visited I had large limas, crowder peas, orange chicken over rice and Mexican cornbread. My wife enjoyed a vegetable plate. Both of us had bread... More

Kayla's has a small dining area that is perfect for a group up to around 25 people. They have a great method of having the group members write your name on the menu and circle your choices. Fast and accurate service. I've eaten at Kayla's numerous times, and while sometimes it's better than others, it's always a pleasant experience. Highly... More

Met with business associate for lunch - service was quick Food arrived - main item (chicken salad on croissant ) was tasty / sides were less so - fruit was obviously canned - basic chips & dessert was a 1 inch piece of cake- still it wasn't a bad experience - just nothing to write home about!

We ate here for lunch in a Monday. It was delicious. Can't beat the price for the food you get. $9 for main dish, 2 sides, bread, dessert and drink!! Very friendly staff also :-). My husband says anytime we are traveling I-20 he will stop and eat at Kayla's Kitchen!!

We stopped here and hadn't heard anything about it. My grandmother and I loved the choices. She loved the Mexican Corn bread and I got the soup of the day and it was good too. The bread pudding was the best!

First of all they have moved just down the street. 115 cotton is not the right address. Im sooo glad we saw all the cars and realized they had moved just down the street. This place was packed on a Thursday at lunchtime with locals. Everyone knew everyone. We had a couple of friendly locals sit with us and we... More
