Don’t be fooled by the looks of this fish market and seafood restaurant in Vacherie. Everything we had: catfish; oyster po-boys; a zydeco salad with three types of beans, shredded carrot, romaine lettuce, pimentos, olives and grilled shrimp was excellent. If you like a little heat, try the Vidalia Onion Picante Sauce on the table. The restaurant can be crowded... More

We loved the bathroom mural! The food was just okay, maybe we didn't order the right things. . Our waitress was very sweet and pleasant. The location was right next door to the Laura plantation.

B and C is a great place to eat! We didn't get to see B & A, but they just ate here. I read about B and C in Southern Living, and it certainly lived up to their rave reviews ... The fried oysters were incredible! (The Laura Plantation is right down the road and is a "must see!)

We stopped for lunch between plantation visits. We sat in the smaller front room with tables and benches, but there is a large second room with lots of tables and chairs. We both had a cup of seafood gumbo, which was quite good, but not great. We both had catfish for lunch. I had the luncheon plate special with red... More

We stopped by before our tour of Laura plantation. We had gumbo and a po'boy. It was good - not amazing, but given the price, speed of service, and convenient location right on River Road by the plantations, I have no complaints.

This place is nothing to look at from outside - my husband thought I was nuts when I made him stop here after a plantation tour. Was he ever glad I had learned about it on TripAdvisor! There was only one waitress so it took her a little longer to get to us, but she was so sweet and apologetic... More

Was planning to tour Evergreen Plantation but missed the tour. Lady at the tour center suggested to come here. It was wonderful! Great Cajun food with awesome prices! Service was very good and our waitress was friendly and eager to chat. Posted a pic of lunch: Seafood gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, Sampler (Boudin Balls, Catfish, Alligator, Crawfish kickers and... More
