Recommended by the owners of Carmel Inn. Large, clean, greatly decorated, and very friendly staff. First time to try Seafood stuffed baked potato. Got to get that recipe! Perfect seasoning and serving size!

This place has no frills, but great service, genuine caring people working there and very good food. I was impressed. Excellent atmosphere and just a nice local place to eat.

Came to Thibodaux to visit friends and wanted to try local Cajun food; we were not disappointed!! I ordered the #4 special and my husband ordered the #3 special both with po boys, étouffée, gumbo, and two sides (carrot soufflé and mac and cheese) everything was delicious!

Good place for a relaxed lunch. The food is good and simple, especially if you like fried seafood. Nothing fancy.

Staff is not friendly and the seafood (which is their specialty) is average at best. My last visit was a year ago and was my last. Upon check out the guy at the register used profanities in the presence of my two children. Not acceptable.

If this is supposed to be "Cajun", I'll pass. The place appears to be more of a tourist trap than anything else. Way too expensive for the quality you receive. I won't go back!

Hubby and I were really looking forward to a great Cajun meal. My half and half meal was awful -- the so-called shrimp etouffee was no more than a can of cream of shrimp soup dumped over rice, and the gumbo was just flat watery. I make way better in my St. Louis kitchen with help from my Tony Chacherea's... More
