Very good Cajun and seafood dishes. Great Po Boys and friendly servers. The prices are reasonable and food is authentic.
The food at Copeland's was delicious! This restaurant was recommended to us by the lady at our hotel. There were four in our party and we all thought the food was great. The service was a little slow. Our waitress told us they were short-handed. I assume this doesn't happen very often. I would definitely go to Copeland's next time... More
My wife and I usually eat here at least once a week. We like to get there before 7:00 and get a drink at the bar during happy hour before we are seated for dinner. We always start our meal with the bayou broccoli balls as our appetizer. Never really had a bad meal at Copeland's. Some of my favorite... More
THE best food in the area, bar none. I liked the waiter that we had, Matthew Welch. Very professional, entertaining, and intelligent.
Food was amazing... But service was absolutely horrible & we had reservations. It took 15 mins to get drinks and we had to acknowledge a manager.. We never officially had a waitress nor were we greeted... I would come back again for the food, but the service was NOT good
My husband and I were regulars at Copeland's on Gause for YEARS until last night. When the bartender, Aspen V., moved our plate and a roach crawled out, she proceeded to tell us that they had sprayed the night before, but she guess that one survived. The fact that a server thought giving an explanation as to why a roach... More
Food was outstanding. Eggplant pirogue & crab cakes...couldn't have been better , but out service started great--personable & helpful. She asked to refill beverages & never saw her again & didn't get the beverages either. Had to ask another server to go find her. Her loss at a better tip!
We were looking for a casual place with good food that was family friendly as we were traveling with our children and ran across the listing for Copelands. We had eaten at Copelands many years ago and knew it would be good. We called ahead since it was a Friday night and sure enough when we arrived, it was very... More
Enjoyed the popcorn shrimp as an appetizer, plus the bbq shrimp boil was pleasant too. My only complaint is the slow service that never checked on us between our appetizer and entree. Would go again due to the awesome food.
