I have eaten lots of seafood in the South. This is, hands down the best place I've found for fresh seafood. Not to be missed are boiled Gulf Shrimp (jumbo sized prawns). They have a distinct flavour and texture that set them head and shoulders above farmed prawns imported from the Far East. The boiled crawfish (Crayfish) are also excellent... More

If you are passing though or a resident of Slidell; you will experience what Louisiana food is about at Peck's. Our grandkids from Atlanta always want Peck's the first night in town. We all like the shrimp po'boy. They also have boiled crawfish (in season) and boiled shrimp. My wife likes the boiled shrimp po'boy. It is not on the... More

Food was good. I'd recommend the catfish platter over the shrimp platter. Try the crab and corn bisque - it's quite tasty! Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Two years ago while driving from Nashville to New Orleans we pulled off of I-10 for gas and a good place for lunch. A guy at the service station recommended Peck's. OMG! I am from New Orleans and really miss fresh boiled and fried seafood and especially po-boys. I had the most amazing oyster po-boy ever! It was overstuffed with... More

We bought their corn on the cob, potatoes, crawfish and peel and eat shrimp and brought it back to our place. The shrimp and crawfish were wonderful. They had good Cajun flavor but not so much that the meat was overwhelmed. If I did it again, I'd skip the almost inedible corn and bland potatoes and just get their amazing... More

Crawfish buy the pound! Delicious and spicy. Had a very good roast beef po' boy. Lots of sides to choose from. The staff were excellent! Even showed a Yankee like me how to peel and eat one of Dem Dar tasty Crawdads'. Reasonably priced delight.

We like to go here after we go on the Honey Island swamp tour (four times now) and the food is always great. I love the boiled shrimp or shrimp po-boy, but it is all good! Definitely pick you up a po-boy or two or three....:)

On our first visit we ordered a large Shrimp po boy $13.99 and a pound of the peel and eat shrimp $11.99#. The po boy was quite good and fresh, but not as many shrimp as a previous visit a few months ago. The peel and eat shrimp were large and very tasty, although a little hard to peel. On... More

The best fried seafood and Po Boys on the Northshore. Prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

We had been to New Orleans for the weekend and heading home. We had a hankering for a Po Boy. We just happened onto casual Pecks. wow! The staff was super helpful and friendly and the food was simply amazing. We had the Shrimp Po Boy and it was spectacular. I specifically wanted fresh Gulf shrimp and I was hugely... More
