This place sure was bustling and busy during the lunch hour. It is one of those old timey local places that is still good and known for the experience more than anything else. The food was good as well, but not outstanding. Service was good too.

Rollin' in the Dough is one of those places where you hear everyone at work talking about and planning their next visit. When I first moved to the area it was one of the first places a co-worker took me. Each visit has not disappointed. Their fresh made bread with a variety of great sandwiches is worth the trip but... I was looking for a restaurant for lunch and Trip Advisor said this restaurant was rated #1 in Shreveport. It sounded kinda old and I thought maybe the rating was inflated. But I was pleasantly surprised! The building was fairly new, the parking lot was overflowing and inside was very clean and up to date. I ordered the pot roast... More

Just like a downhome farm girl who grew up right and grew up working hard, the homemade buns at this place are like none other! There is a glass partition where you can see the chefs at work, baking the bread. I'm not sure what it is about the bread, but it is delicious. The burgers themselves are good, but... More

Used to be more of a bakery, but, although they still have some baked goods...If you like burgers, you'll love theirs because their homemade bun makes it special. I usually order the small catfish plate. I'm from Texas and I know my catfish! This is unexpectedly good! They make it a little spicy and crispy; it's never fishy. It comes... More

I must have eaten a million hamburgers in my life, give or take a dozen. The West Coast burger at Rollin' in Dough has to be in the top 3 if not the best one I have had. The buns, as most have mentioned, are freshly made right in the restaurant and terrific. This burger had delicious sauteed portobellos, soft... More

I went with the traditional bacon cheeseburger and it was great! The fresh homemade bun was what really sets it apart. A traditional burger comes with all the trimmings on the side,so you shouldn't have to request to not add anything. Each plate comes with a side of waffle fries, which I love, but they prepare theirs a little more... More

The boyfriend and I finally decided to try Rollin' in the Dough. We visited at around 2:00 on a Friday afternoon, and the place was packed, even for the midafternoon hour. I had the shrimp poboy. It was delicious, and the seasoned waffle fries were some of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had the chicken salad sandwich, which... More

I have eaten lunch here half a dozen times on business trips. I have never been disappointed with any of their menu items/specials. Place your order at the counter, get your drink and they will rapidly deliver our meal to your table. It’s a lunch spot and there isn’t anything complicated on the menu. Portion sizes are adequate. The prices... More
