Private, fine dining.

Along with two other couples, my wife and I had dinner at the restaurant recently. We have counted the Viiage Grille among our favorite places to eat for many years, but our most recent experience was a major disappointment. We were told upon arrival that the air conditioning wasn't working properly and so they had a ceiling fan blowing full... More

We had a wonderful experience at Village Grill. We started with the fried artichoke appitizer, which was delicious. It was topped with crab meat for $10.95. For our entrees, we ordered the 7 oz filet and the rack of lamb. The sides were steamed broccoli and twice baked potato. I must say the twice baked potato was the best item... More

The last two times we have been there we have gone on Tuesday's (Wednesday too if not sold out) so we can get the wonderful pork chop special. It's huge & serves two people easy with leftovers. Tonight was the first time we tried the pasta Alfredo as a side and it was amazing!! We have never been disappointed in... More

A very intimate setting with dim lights and relatively private seating, it's a great place for a romantic date. Menus are verbal; there's literally nothing to read--they do bring out a table and show you the different meats and sizes however. The sides are point, both the seafood and the steak. For two people w entrees an alcoholic beverage each... More

I leave in Shreveport, LA for almost 26 years. Greek say "Bad start ends with bad end". This special evening celebrating the BD of my very good friend was my first and may be the last visit of this recommended by others place. It is ranked as one of the top three exclusive (and expensive) place in town. The place... More

I enjoyed everything all the way to the key lime pie which was to die for. Very romantic and quiet dinner.

I dined here last week with a business group of four. I have dined here for 20 years off and on, at least once a year though. I have had excellent meals and questionable ones also, but I am happy to report that the Village is finding it's groove again. Phillip was our server and did an excellent job as... More

Went there for a special occasion with a few other couples. There are no menus and the wait staff will recite the menu for you. Very impressed with our waitress for expertly memorizing the entire menu, but that's definitely the highlight. The decor is tacky, there were holes worn in the seats, and our table rocked. OK for fast food... More
