Such a pleasant experience I had visiting this place. Everything is made with as much pride and dedication as it was decades before. I wish all small businesses were still run this way. Try their famous "Muffy" you will not be disappointed!

Enjoyed my original 'muffy' sandwich for lunch. The deli is located in a historic building and is an enjoyable atmosphere. It's like you stepped back in time. They also served an Italian mint tea which was very refreshing. If your in Shreveport for any amount of time this is a definite must see.

Went here for lunch and was thoroughly pleased. I am not find of olives so I didn't try the "Muffy" but my friend did and he enjoyed it. I has the Cajun roast need sandwich and it was very good. The food is very good but the historic setting is in itself worth the pleasure of dining here. Fertitta'a is... More

There's just something about this place that calls to you once you've eaten there. Everyone absolutely needs a traditional muffy with some of their unique mint tea every once in awhile in their life.

This place has a ton of character and has been family owned for a long time. There are some really interesting antiques inside. I love their original muffy and their meatball sandwich. I love their sweet tea as well. The people that run the place are very friendly and pleasant. Service is quick.

i take visitors here when i can. it is always very good and has historical displays, photographs and lots of conversation starters, like the wine bottle shaped like an elephant with his trunk raised. it must hold 2-4 liters of wine or wine vinegar.

We stop every time we are in Shreveport. Their take on the classic muffaletta sandwich is great. They're hours are short do make sure you check before you go.

This is a great little lunch stop! Menu is simple. You get either a muffaletta, a pizza, or a salad. But the flavor is outstanding. Service was quick & friendly. If you like sweet tea, their homemade flavored tea is wonderful. Otherwise, you can get canned drinks or water. Building is a piece of history. Don't miss it if you... More

We wanted to try something different and unique to Shreveport while passing through. No disappointment here! It's a dining experience that is way more than just the food, which, by the way, is fine in a great Chicago hot dog kind of way. Fertitta's is a piece of living history that gives you an opportunity to viscerally recall an America... More

Went for lunch in Saturday and it was closed. It looked closed permanently. It may want to call first.
