Nice lunch

Choices of bar or restaurant for seating. Service was excellent. Very helpful and friendly waiter. Menu offered a good selection of southern dishes with a bit of a new take on each. Fried green tomatoes were a hit. The soups were interfering and delicious. Over all a good experience. Can... read more

I come into town for business every couple months. I eat here every time. Love the food!! I try something new every time and have not been disappointed yet!! They only thing I wish they had Santa. margarita Pinot!! The one they have gives me an instant headache 😞. Other than that love it. Will be back again soon!!

I have been here a couple of times before, and had good experiences-good food and service, even though a bit pricey. Yesterday, I took my wife for a treat-we had never been there together-and I told her how nice it was. I had brought my daughter on several occasions when she was on break from school. Once again, the ambiance... More

Previous experience were great. Last visits were disappointing with cold poorly prepared food. Seems more of a bar than a restaurant now. service slow and servers did not know menu. Very busy and noisy bar scene. As well as the bar is doing, why care for the food quality. Disappointed

Great service and interesting unique menu. A bit pricey. Nice ambience. This 100 character minimum is a pain. It should be much lower!!! ****************

Happy that we went to Wine Country Bistro, it is our first time in Shreveport so we had no idea as to where to go. We trusted the reviews and weren't disappointed. We had the mussels excellent choice, fried calamari were also good, decent wine selection ! And Good service.

Three things for starters: 1) Wine Country Bistro may be a bit of a misnomer, since it is at least 1000 miles from a serious vineyard,, BUT 2) there is also a connected bottle shop with a wide selection of American, Argentenian, Australian, Chilean, etc. wines, AND 3) there is an extremely impressive barbecue smoker in the parking space directly... One of the best happy hours in town, if you use their house spirits you can get a really great martini for #4. Always a great meal too. They change their menu up so there is always something new to try. Also, GREAT brunch place, try their waffles, but be prepared to share or get a to go box. The... More

Based on other reviews, we found this nice wine bar and bistro while on an overnight stop while traveling through the area. Wanted something light because we were a bit late in stopping for the night, and it was just the ticket--the wait person was helpful in selecting a nice California chard, suggesting a taste since the one we picked... This is in the former Semolina's location on Line Avenue in the same strip center with Stein Mart. Good food but somewhat limited menu. Service is good and lots of parking available. Somewhat pricey.
