Staff is sweet; but, seem annoyed at times, especially with taking care of, following up with guests needs. Food is expensive and food is prepared ahead of time - it's obvious as the fried eggplant was soggy. Tables are set with lines; but, the rest of the service, ambiance is ignored - make it one way or another - casual... More

The food is great!! The service is decent. We ate there twice during our stay in the area. We enjoyed our plates so much that we each ordered the exact same thing both nights. It's also a very cool setting.

We had the seafood platter with fried shrimp, crab, and oysters with the fried green tomatoes with lump crab meat and the barbeque oysters. All of it was quite tasty with excellent service. Our cocktails were yummy-I suggest the Bloody Mary! Be sure to check out the art work by a local artist and photos by a local photographer. Nice... More

The food was excellent, well priced and the staff was very attentive to detail. The setting is spectacular and my wife and I greatly enjoyed a leisurely dining experience. The grounds and the plantation house are beautiful in the early evening and after dark. Be sure to call for reservations as they are required, My wife had the potato chip... More

My wife and I stopped on a weekday for lunch. Things were a bit out of sync due to a small fire in the gift shop the night before. But the food was quite tasty. I had Oysters Bienville and red beans and rice. My wife enjoyed a wedge salad and fried green tomatoes. The food was great, and as... More

Went to the restaurant for lunch and found it very enjoyable! The food was great (even the cheese burger was remarkable - the bum had to be homemade) and the waiter was a very kind and attentive gentleman. Try the bread pudding - amazing! My only "negative" would be that it was a bit warm inside - those of us... More

Did the tour in the mansion and decided to eat lunch at the carriage house. Ordered two hamburgers and a BLT we sent the burgers back they were both charcoal burnt. The BLT bacon must have been cooked earlier that day. There was literally a sliver of lettuce and tomato only on one side of the burgers. The tour was... More
