We've eaten here several times. The food was just good, not great. We mainly choose Log Cabin because of the variety on the menu. There is something there for everyone. The service has always been great and the have a nice store inside that sells cajun stuffed meats and other food items.

Kudos to the Owners, Management and Staff. Very diverse menu...something for everyone. I'm always looking for the places locals frequent. This is one for Ruston, LA.

Good service. Overall would give it a six out of 10. The fried pickles were great for an appetizer, although they could not accommodate for a half order. I had the grilled shrimp Po boy with loaded mashed potatoes, neither of which were extra special, and the shrimp seemed overcooked. I was excited to try the peach white chocolate bread... More

We ate here on May 23, 2014. We had a party of 6. I ordered several appetizers, one being fried pickles. My wife is the only one in the group that loves fried pickles, Well we cleaned the plate and there was a plate full, lol. We all ordered different entree's and we were all very pleased. Our server was... More

The portions are HUGE (up to you whether that's a pro or con). The side salad was pretty sub-par (pale green lettuce) but had good croutons. Chicken fried steak was surprisingly good, especially if you like things on the peppery side. Excellent service! (Ask for Stormy)

We stopped while passing through. The food was good, with quite a variety. Service was good once we got seated. For some reason, seating was slow and they weren't too busy. Worth the stop though.

The Log Cabin has a wide variety of options, from barbeque to Mexican food options to Southern comfort food. I've never had a bad meal there!

Good restaurant with a wide variety of food. The service is good and the food is great. The place can be quite noisy especially if there are kids.

Good variety of food. Almost overwhelming for someone who has trouble making decisions. We both had burgers. Tasted like they were fresh off the BBQ grill. Fast, friendly service. Will be back!

The Backyard Burger lives up to its name-- the taste is exactly like a burger you would grill up on the back patio. The grilled onions and cheese add a bit of patty melt to the mix. Very good. Service was great too.
