Went with friends for our first visit over Peach Festival weekend. Laid back, sports bar atmosphere but seems family friendly, too. High tech jukebox rolled out tunes. Started with fried pickles which were amazing. Convinced to try a peach martini...heavenly! I had the Dylan's Anytime burger which comes with a fried egg and was very pleased. Friends died over their... More

Dawg House is a fun place to hang out and watch a game. The food is a little better than bar fare. I had never had fried pickles before Dawg House. They're good! The waitstaff is always laidback and friendly.

Love, love, love Dawghouse burgers! Swiss & Mushroom, Dawsey, & Claude burgers are all phenomenal! This is a sports bar than offers live music in a college town, so crowds are the norm. We usually go for lunch when we want a quieter meal.

It's a neat sports/college bar. Good menu, great burgers (should have ordered the smaller one). We were there visiting granddaughter and her fiance - they HAD to take us there. The famous burger is with peanut butter. I really should have tasted it but everyone says it's great.Fun, friendly atmosphere.

This place is known for their great burgers and supporting the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, but it is so much more. This is one of the few places for me that I could pick something different to eat almost every time I visit. Great beef tenderloin sandwich, french dip, chicken and spinach quesadilla, steak fingers, and so much more.

When I visit my sister in Louisiana, I often like to make the hour drive to Ruston to eat at the Dawg House. They are the best burgers that I have ever eaten. The buns are soft and aromatic, the meat is well seasoned, and the condiments are fresh. What an awesome dive! My wife agrees and all my kids... More

We ate here this past Friday night. If you get the Paws Claws be sure to order the buffalo sauce. My son didn't and the dish was mediocre. I got a grilled chicken salad. It was good. My husband got a regular hamburger. He said that it was good but didn't think it was worth $9. He said that he... More

In Ruston for business and tried their 1/2 pound Mushroom Swiss burger on Jalipino bread and it was incredible! Meat was fresh and juicy. The Bread was fantastic and the cheese fries were great. The only problem I had was that my stomach wasn't big enough for an order of onion rings too... Maybe next time!

As someone who enjoys a good meal, my expectations were greatly diminished when I walked in. But the food won me over. If I was a college student, it would be a perfect combination: dumpy, hole-in-the-wall college bar with great fries. But the food really is good. Big burgers, seemingly freshly made. The chicken strips are awesome. I crave them... More
