One of our favorite places for Mexican

Great food and good service. Love the white queso. Never crowded and close to home, favorite place for Mexican.

The last time I was here I swore I would never go back again. The food was good, but the place was shabby and the restrooms were hideous.

My experience was very close tables with loud kids and the decor really needed updating and a good cleaning. I am a fan of other Las Palmas resaurants in the area but this one was kinda dirty and the Sunday crowd was too noisy for my taste. The food was average.

This Mexican restaurant is our current basic "tex-mex" favorite. Like it even better than some of its sister restaurants. MANY years in Texas, this one fits our palette & budget.

It's hard to think of Mexican as lite food, but Las Palmas has a delicious lite meal. It includes fajitas in either chicken or beef and the most delicious steamed vegetables anywhere. The vegetable include broccoli, carrots, and beans and are steamed to a crunchy perfection. Not very expensive either - around $10.

I have never had better salsa! I ordered the Chili Relleno and not expecting a lot of cheese, ordered it stuffed with cheese instead of meat. Had I known they were so generous with the cheese on top, I would have stuck with the meat filling! It was wonderful tho! Also had a cheese enchillada (I love good cheese) and... More

Go to Mi Padres instead. I have no affiliation with Mi Padres. We just find it far superior. We don't find the food to be seasoned very well at all.

Not the best I have had but the best in town. Fast, resonable price, very clean, excelletn wait staff. I like spicier and more ethnic but it is good. I go there alot so don't get mw wrong - but of all the mexican food I have had I'd put this in the top 1/3 - but not the top.

When I crave Mexican food, I head to Las Palmas. I love the Antiguo and Del Rio combo plates, both of which have so much food I usually have leftovers for two more meals at home. My hubby loves the Lite Bite, a healthy option that comes with beef, chicken, or shrimp plus a serving of grilled veggies -- zucchini... More
