Unfortunately not very good

Some friends asked us to go to Suzannas as they had been before and thought it was brilliant. We went on a Sunday at 3pm and it was quite empty. Two of us had the roast beef dinner, one had the curry and one had the steak. We had to send the roast beef dinner back as the gravy was... read more

Met my friend here for a meal at 6.30. Ordered smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich. How could anybody produce such an unedible meal. Bread had been frozen and defrosted. No butter on one side, cream cheese put in a dish, rather then on the sandwich. Frozen chips. Left most of it, still being hungry app enquired if the deserts... More

We have been to Suzanna's often and it never disappoints and on this occasion it was excellent, the meal was superb the sizzling steak was lovely and the chocolate cheesecake was delicious. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, we also had a fireworks display to bring in the new year.

Lacking atmosphere, you have to pay extra for a salad to go with steak and chips !! Oh and the so called pie is a sloppy stew with a pastry plonked on top , burger dry and tasteless .......only told after the meal the card machine was not working Need we say more !!

we had booked a table in advance but really there was no need too as they were quiet. we were informed that there where some dishes unavailable, so we both had the steak and ale pie which was very good but oddly they said they had no pastry? so at the moment we are unsure about this place we will... Having arrived at 5.15 on a Sunday afternoon the restaurant was shut but the pub side was still open for food (hindsight lunchtime). Before we placed our order we were told that there was no salad left or goats cheese, fair enough. I ordered pate, which arrived with ciabatta toast (full of holes) a chutney which was nice and a... We ate in the restaurant and were well looked after, the staff are helpful and friendly and the food on the whole is very good. We were however, shocked at the prices they are charging so left feeling a bit cheated by the experience. Bearing in mind that this is basically a pub with a fancy back room, £15 for... More

Iv wrote on here before, I'd just like to add another review about how outstanding this place is and how I would recommend it to everyone. The beautiful decor and friendly staff make the experience amazing. We visited Suzannas again on Friday night, the bar was quite busy but not to crowded. But we was taken through to the restaurant...
