Great fried chicken and seafood....shrimp boat is huge! Also great homemade lemonade. Central location in Opelousas, and the staff were very nice. They also do great wing platters which are outstanding for tailgating appetizers.

I'm currently in Opelousas, Louisiana for Mardi Gras. I came across this fried chicken joint and loved the food. Great service and the food is so flavorful. Would recommend to anyone in town looking for a quick meal!

Love their chicken tender sandwich as well as their fried chicken. Their shrimp po-boys are good also, even though they are not like the traditional New Orleans ones.

Consistently good . I like the gizzards , corn fritters, okra, chicken salad sandwich . My grandson likes the chicken & fries. It is southern & it is greasy ..so do not expect healthy food!! Very reasonably priced.

The fried chicken was delicious, as was the dirty rice and the fried okra. Catfish and shrimp dinner was a bit disappointing, as I expected filets - not catfish chunks. It tasted good, however - and surprisingly good (sweet) lemonade - real, not synthetic, did not have that salty taste of fake stuff!!

Definitely not diet food, but for a real treat - delicious! We split a chicken dinner with fried okra, and a shrimp basket with corn fritters. I didn't care for the biscuit that came with the chicken. It seemed to heavy and greasy, but I highly recommend everything else we tried.
