This was an OK lunch but I've had better in Lafayette. Service was good and the setting was pleasant but the food was just average. I had frog legs that were heavy on the fried coating but the meat itself was tasty. Also had catch fillets that were ok but under-seasoned. There is a buffet that had a big selection... More

After growing up in this area, I've had the opportunity to visit Landry's several times and I've never been disappointed. Now that Alex Patout is head chef there, believe me, you will never be disappointed in the food. We went on a Tuesday evening when it was really quiet and got excellent service as food. I would point out signature... More

The food here isn't bad, it's just not that good. If you're from out of town you may be impressed, the building is nice, there's a pond with ducks and geese out front, the waitstaff is decent, they cook what you'd think of as "Cajun food". However, if you live here, and know what good food is (probably because you... More

This is a very nice cajun restaurant with better than average food. My favorite part is that it was not in a warehouse. So many cajun restaurants set up shop in an old metal building with concrete floors. Laundry's in New Iberia is a proper restaurant with a rustic lodge like feel. Still a blue jeans type place but not... More

On a recent trip back to New Iberia my wife and I had lunch at Landry's just off of Highway 90. Now this is Landry's is independent and not at all affiliated with the large Landry's Seafood chain so you are not going to get the mass produced commercial grade food normally associated with the big chain restaurant. What you... More

Perhaps fine if you want a large amount of indifferent food from the buffet. The crawfish experience did not taste much of crawfish. The etouffee was drowned in cheese, several dishes too much batter, gumbo salty. To be fair the hamburger my wife eat was thick, juicy and better than previous burgers.

We had a gift certificate to Landry's and I'm so glad I didn't wait to use it. The buffet was AWESOME! But I hope you like fried food, mostly everything was fried. I can't wait to go back again. Go early because it does get packed. And you must sit on the side with the Cajun music playing.

arrived 1 pm on a weekday, post lunch crowd. I had fried fish & Crawfish Toffee ,stuffed potato and a nice salad from the salad bar. My mom got the soft shell crabs she loves. It was her birthday and the staff brought her a brownie birthday cake & sang. The other diners were all local & they seem to... More

This restaurant is easy to get to off Highway 90 in the New Iberia area. We stopped in for lunch they had a fish buffet - it was $12.95 per person plus drink. The buffet included salad bar, 3 dessert choices, and fried catfish filets and nuggets, gumbo, shrimp pasta, seafood stuffing, and a few other things. The food was... More

My wife and I went for supper and had the grand buffet. The food was very good and seasoned well and our waitress was very friendly and provided good service. The prices were reasonable as well. We plan on returning next time we are in town.
