We ate supper at Clementine's and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. My husband had the special and I had pasta both were very flavorful. Dessert was a spiced syrup cake that was so moist and delicious my mouth is watering thinking about it. We live 2 hours a way and will make the drive... More

I have dined at Clementine's many times over the years and have never been disappointed with the service or food. Wayne, the owner is friendly and the food served is very good. The atmosphere is unique with pictures of southern Louisiana on the walls. My favorite is the gumbo and the bread is excellent. This is a fun place on... More

We stopped into Clementine in the afternoon to look at the menu and make reservations, and were really looking forward to our dinner- especially after discovering that the woman who made our reservation and I were rather distant cousins! It was quite a letdown. We waited quite a while to place our order, and several minutes after placing the order... More

My family and I had dinner here while visiting New Iberia. We have dined here multiple times in the past and love the place (food and service). Something was definitely different this time. The waitress told us the specials for the evening but failed to mention items that were printed on the menu that were no longer offered. My husband... More

Our friend invited us to dinner at Clementine's. She had previously had lunch there a few months ago and raved about the food. She stated that is was '5 star dining' and we were all excited to go. My husband was looking forward to the duck. We arrived and when we began to order, we were then informed that they... More

The atmosphere on the bar side of the restaurant is much nicer than the larger dining area on the opposite side, which has a slight diner vibe going for it. The oyster trio appetizer is tasty, the Bienville oyster being the best of the three. Slightly tepid, however. The same with the chicken sausage and duck gumbo. Good, not great.... More

one of my vendors took me to lunch last week and I recommended Clementine, as I have never had a bad meal there. After reading the lunch menu it's funny but we both picked the same thing, a muffeletta panini as I have a weakness for a good muffaletta. It was perfect, the bread wasn't actually a traditional ciabatta but... More

I recently had to come to New Iberia for business for a week. Being in South Louisiana, I was excited about indulging in true cajun cuisine. However, for the first few days, the restaurants left me completely underwhelmed. I was starting to lose hope that I would find a descent meal - until I came across Clementine. THE BEST MEAL... More

Visited this place in the morning, and found it, and the owner, very charming, so decided to return that night from Lafayette for dinner. Huge mistake! I expected the meal to be pricey, which it was, but got none of the amenities one usually gets with that price tag. For one thing, I do not like eating dinner on a... More
