Great snack

Stopped after visiting the Tabasco factory. Just needed a snack to hold us until dinner. Had the fried green tomato coarser and catfish bites. Both were excellent, but the fried green tomato captures was my favorite. Love the southern twist!

First the good. Nice historic building downtown. The food was fairly good but no better then any other Cajun cuisine restaurant in the area. The company was outstanding as we were there for an extended family gathering. There was live entertainment in the form of two musicians. The bad. Main dish items arrived before salads. The place was a little... More

We brought relatives to Clementine's, wanting to show off the cuisine of the area. We were seated immediately. The place was not full, Then the wait started. Finally our waitress came and got our appetizer order and lunch order. The seafood gumbo was not great. The roux was very dark. That is usually the chef's choice so some places you... More

Clementines had been recommended by several locals and we were looking forward to it. The atmosphere was great but the menu was limited and highly over priced for what you got. All in all a pretty disappointing dining experience.

The food is excellent, the staff..... sucks. Look like they are in the "Lala land", or talking with their friends, not wondering if you need more wine, or what ever. if you need some thing , you need to, get up, and go get some one, that is ; if they realize that you are talking to them. I wonder... More

I was with a bus group of 50 senior citizens. When we got there, the wait staff was not ready for us and the tables were not set. My food was cold and the blackened fish was hard as a rock. My tablemates also complained about cold food and dry chicken. The majority of the food was not eaten and... More

I agree with the reviewer from March. Do not waste your time or your money here! The food was lackluster: salty mostly-rice chicken and sausage gumbo; so-so jerk pork (nothing special). The bbq shrimp with the filet was the best but we've had so much better in Portland, OR. The service was also lackluster and there was no one else... More

We visited here as part of the Tabasco food tour. The sample here was bread pudding. It was wonderful. Had a meringue on top of it that did not take away from the taste of the bread pudding. Had a wonderful whiskey sauce on top. If you like break pudding, you have to try this place.

Nice atmosphere; delicious food: great service. We will return to this restaurant in Downtown New Iberia. We dined in the bar area that houses a beautiful vintage bar.

Located in downtown New Iberia, this restauant has a lot of history. The bar is a beatiful piece of furniture brought. Food is great, try the bread pudding, a signature dish.
