Went for a budiness mtg. They do have wifi. Had red beans and rice with very tender sausage. My counterpart had the chicken and gravy. They enjoyed it as well. Lunch came with a side and we each had cucumber salad and a soft drink for only $21. Would visit again.

I think this is probably where the locals go for lunch. Relaxed, good food, reasonable price, everybody seemed to know exactly how to go about getting their lunch. Staff was friendly and pointed me to the right line. Food was pretty good but not outstanding, except for the pie. Vegetables were seasoned in a way that could make me a... More

I just finished reading my first Dave Robicheaux novel by James Lee Burke before traveling to Louisiana and read about Victor's Cafeteria in New Iberia, which is featured in his books. We didn't realise the place closed at 2PM (we just arrived before 2) but were still allowed to order and they told us to take our time. For us,... More

There is always something good to eat! Desserts are great, caramel apple pie, yum! The pork roast and fried chicken are one of my favorites. They serve breakfast that's great too!

We were just looking some lunch when we spotted Victors. What an outstanding find! Our plates lunches were absolutely delicious! Everyone in the place was friendly and when they realized we were from Arkansas they made a point to come by our table. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a great lunch last week at Victor's. From the red beans and sausage to the fried chicken, everything was delicious. All the people there were super friendly, and the highlight of the whole thing was talking to Miss Catherine about her pecan pie! Well, actually eating the pie was the highlight, but talking about it was a close... More

We stopped in for Sunday dinner. It was pretty plain fare. Some variety, but not large selection of main dishes .The food was ok but not great. The service was fine. They make their money by charging by the item - as do most cafeteria style eateries. The restrooms are very basic.

We have lived in New Iberia for five years and have breakfast here about twice a month and sometimes lunch. Breakfast items are displayed in the cafeteria line, but order what you want because they cook many dishes to order. They make a great omelet with your choice of fillings. The fried eggs, French toast, pancakes are all cooked to... More

When I became a tour director in 2000, I learned that cafeterias are a very southern thing. I have taken my groups to many, some great and some OK. Fortunately, Danny Bonaventure of Allonsa Lafayette Tours recommended this for our group when we had a lunch on our own. It was excellent. The choices were good for everyone and the... More
