Good for New Iberia

You won't go here for a bistro atmosphere - this is authentic and in Cajun country. The people there are there to eat good food. The service was good and you won't go wrong with the food. It can get packed very quickly so don't dilly-dally. They offer to-go orders in case you can't find a place... read more

Seafood Connection is my favorite place for boiled seafood. Casual atmosphere for the friends and family.

We are locals and this is our go to place for Friday night. We usually share a bowl of the delicious gumbo which includes both rice and potato salad---yes we eat potato salad with our gumbo in south Louisiana. My husband usually gets the fried fish and I get the small fried shrimp so we can share with each other.... More

Very plain restaurant that offers very friendly- not exaggerated- service and very good craw- and catfish. Everything on the other tables also looked good. The other guests were also really friendly. This is all about the food and we loved the atmosphere.

You will love this food for the great freshness and taste. The decor is not fancy, just a great place to eat. So get your mouth watering for some boiled crawfish, shrimp and other fried southern favorites. Roll up your sleeves and get down to eating with the locals and people who travel a long way for the food.

I am originally from New Iberia, and I always stop when I'm home. They have great boiled crawfish; cooked and seasoned to perfection. I normally do the stuffed shrimp or fried catfish. No matter what I pick it's delicious.

Food is always excellent here. Boiled seafood is always boiled to perfection. Service is great also. The only con is the noise volume at times due to the acoustics of the building.

I don't know how this place stays open, the fried chicken is just like mom///grandmother made. I know that term is over used but it fits the bill here. Better call it in though, it is cooked to order and the price is super reasonable, almost like selling it @ cost it is that cheap.

Went here for the first time when I went home for a visit. We were celebrating my older brothers and one of my younger sisters birthdays. The food was really good, good good portions, service was ok, but I think the waitresses were overwhelmed, need more help. The seating was a bit a warfare as we were all at this... More
