This old adage is proved time and again, by the Seafood Connection! Whenever we get an envie for perfectly boiled and seasoned crabs, we head for the Seafood Connection. We are consistently satisfied with the size, quality, preparation, service, and value, which we have come to expect! We get the regular size crabs. Most other places would call these large... More

We visited the place two evenings. It is a place where you can get freshly boiled Crowfish on the primitive and rustic way. Only with some biscuits, ketchup and hot sauce and a stack of napkins, as they are needed. Besides the crowfish there is little boiled potatoes in their jackets. Lovely rustic, almost like being in the swamp. Nice... More

We have lived in New Iberia for 5 years and love to go here on Fridays for boiled & fried seafood. It's a family place with long tables you might share with other people. Grandmothers, aunts & uncles, kids of all ages. We peal shrimp & crawfish and crack crabs. The gumbo is excellent as is the fried seafood. The... More

Restaurant has family atmosphere. However, staff sharing extremely inappropriate language. Waitress staff speaking about sexual experiences/preferences, plans for weekend, cursing, rude comments towards another family and their children . All within earshot of my family and children. Did not bother reporting to manager due to him standing near by and could hear staff! Will never return. Too many other family... More

This place is a "hole-in-the-wall" -- let me clarify. It is a very casual place, where you can wear shorts and flip-flops, perfect for eating boiled crabs and crawfish. But also good poor-boys. The food is consistently good -- and well seasoned (Cajun style). Service is good. You can always count on a good meal.

If you like seafood, and if you're in New Iberville, LA, you MUST go to the Seafood Connection. What a great restaurant. Prices were amazing considering the size and taste of the food. Jo and Charles of the Estorge-Norton House Bed and Breakfast clued us in on this restaurant. Thanks!

I've been going to Seafood Connection for years, and I often send out-of-towners there if they are looking for real Cajun cuisine in a non-touristy locale. The place is admittedly a hole-in-the-wall, but to some people (including me) this is a positive, not a negative. It's an ugly little cinder block building; the bathrooms are located around the side of... More

This review is for the Seafood Connection II, the smaller place on Center Street. We were hungry for boiled seafood but since it was so early in the day we settled for crawfish etouffet. First of all, this is a "walk up to the counter and order food, sit down, they bring it to you" kind of place. We knew... More

Walking into this location of the Seafood Connection you feel like you're about to dine in somebody's garage. It was recommended by the counter lady at our hotel, she said that some of the higher end places were trading on their reputations, but at this place, they rarely missed on the food. I really liked it -- loved the seafood... More

I've been to Seafood Connection a few times a year for the last +10 years, but I'll be hard-pressed to return since my last visit. The parking lot smelled of seafood gone bad. (Strike 1) Their gumbo is horrible, and I'm a local. They should know better... (Strike 2) The service was terrible. Maybe we caught her on a bad... More
