I don't know how this place stays open, the fried chicken is just like mom///grandmother made. I know that term is over used but it fits the bill here. Better call it in though, it is cooked to order and the price is super reasonable, almost like selling it @ cost it is that cheap.

Went here for the first time when I went home for a visit. We were celebrating my older brothers and one of my younger sisters birthdays. The food was really good, good good portions, service was ok, but I think the waitresses were overwhelmed, need more help. The seating was a bit a warfare as we were all at this... More

The food here is excellent I have had quite a few things on the menu and have always been satisfied, the only problem I have with this restaurant is when I call and ask the size of the seafood I never get the true answer, it seems they have forgotten what large crabs look like, I'm sure I would still... I was introduced to this place by a friend who live here. Came here to have dinner with him. I order half dozen of boil crabs and it was awesome. Well spiced up and the corn were good. I definitely will come back here for more. Too bad the crawfish season is not it yet. Boil crab is the way... More

This old adage is proved time and again, by the Seafood Connection! Whenever we get an envie for perfectly boiled and seasoned crabs, we head for the Seafood Connection. We are consistently satisfied with the size, quality, preparation, service, and value, which we have come to expect! We get the regular size crabs. Most other places would call these large... More

We visited the place two evenings. It is a place where you can get freshly boiled Crowfish on the primitive and rustic way. Only with some biscuits, ketchup and hot sauce and a stack of napkins, as they are needed. Besides the crowfish there is little boiled potatoes in their jackets. Lovely rustic, almost like being in the swamp. Nice... More

We have lived in New Iberia for 5 years and love to go here on Fridays for boiled & fried seafood. It's a family place with long tables you might share with other people. Grandmothers, aunts & uncles, kids of all ages. We peal shrimp & crawfish and crack crabs. The gumbo is excellent as is the fried seafood. The... More

Restaurant has family atmosphere. However, staff sharing extremely inappropriate language. Waitress staff speaking about sexual experiences/preferences, plans for weekend, cursing, rude comments towards another family and their children . All within earshot of my family and children. Did not bother reporting to manager due to him standing near by and could hear staff! Will never return. Too many other family... More

This place is a "hole-in-the-wall" -- let me clarify. It is a very casual place, where you can wear shorts and flip-flops, perfect for eating boiled crabs and crawfish. But also good poor-boys. The food is consistently good -- and well seasoned (Cajun style). Service is good. You can always count on a good meal.

If you like seafood, and if you're in New Iberville, LA, you MUST go to the Seafood Connection. What a great restaurant. Prices were amazing considering the size and taste of the food. Jo and Charles of the Estorge-Norton House Bed and Breakfast clued us in on this restaurant. Thanks!
