Greatest poboys ever!

This is a small, family owned restaurant that serves plate lunches and the best poboys ever. There daily specials are a great value.

Don't be scared away by the outward appearance of this restaurant. Inside they serve some of the best overstuffed po-boy sandwiches, corn crab soup, and gumbo anywhere around! This restaurant has been serving up the aforementioned items, as well as a wide selection of other delicious dishes, for many years. My new favorite menu item is the seafood platter po-boy.... More

We visited here as part of the tabasco food tour. The sample was seafood gumbo, chicken and sausage gumbo, and potato salad. All of it was wonderful! We went back that night for po boys and they were excellent!

We were looking for a place to take out of town guests to eat in New Iberia and was referred here by local friends. Absolutely not a fancy place but the food was outstanding. Catfish Poorboy, Shrimp Basket and Gumbo were all excellent. Staff was friendly and the cost very reasonable. I will eat here again.

Some 15 years ago my son and I stumbled on this great place while knocking about Louisiana. I thought the Po' Boy I had was filled with the most tender shrimp ever. Just got done with a meal with wife and my only complaint was chasing down the shrimp as they spilled from the overstuffed sandwich. Also had great seafood... More

Don't let the outside fool you.. Inside this lil hole in the wall is the best po boys and gumbo you've ever eat! We didn't try the salads, so we can't say about those, but I did see some other people eating them too.. It was soooo good! I recommend the fried crawfish po boy! Its to die for!

No curb appeal and unless I was on the Tabasco food tour, would never stop in unless directed by a local. This place has no windows, a "hole in the wall" type place but great food including gumbo, etc.

We would not have known about this place without TA, and we would not have found it without our GpS, as the lettering is so faded and it sits sort of by itself. We walked in and thought there were just a few stools but found two other large rooms with picnic style tables. You order at the window, and... More

A true hole in the wall establishment. Open only for lunch it was a little hard to find We drove right passed it the first time. The painted murals on the outside of the building are so faded you can't even decipher what they were? However, the food is superb. The seafood gumbo is excellent with quite a lot of... More
