Recommended by the locals...great choice!

Thoroughly enjoyed our po boys, and the chicken and sausage jambalaya. Don't let the drive up keep you from going in. A little hard to see the sign (for us visitors), but had good directions. Glad we found it!

Consistency is why they are the best, you don't have to worry about hit or miss, it's always a hit. I always got their amazing shrimp Po Boy every time, it's delish you seriously won't be disappointed. Just the other day I tried the Cheeseburger Po Boy because I was so curious and dear lord was it good. The only... More

We went to Bon Creole on the recommendation from a local resident. The food was really good, the restrooms were clean. This restaurant is not fancy, but was really busy even though we were there at a off time. You order at the counter and they call your name when your food is ready.

We stopped here for lunch. The building isn't the most attractive, but the full parking lot indicated that a closer look might be warranted. My wife and I split a whole shrimp poboy. The sandwich was huge, and very good. While the place was very busy, the window type service was very quick. Very informal seating. Best lunch in quite... More

Best place in Acadiana, and perhaps Louisiana to get an overstuffed Poboy, great gumbo and seafood. Must eat stop for anyone passing thru New Iberia.

We are from Virginia Beach. I make a decent Gumbo and try it when I see it on menus. Never had any that is in this class. Best I have ever had. We got a PoBoy with every thing. The seafood was fried perfectly!

If you get here during lunch, you are going to be in line with the oil workers, crawfish farmers, Konrico factory workers and a sprinkling of tourists. This is the real thing - as authentic as it gets...... Want a real treat, ask for some Imperial Orleans Caviar - it is fabulous - a beautiful, naturally black, small bead caviar... More

Try to go at least once every time I visit New Iberia. Not your average restaurant, but an unusual place to eat. Old looking building, but parking lot is usually full. You walk in to a order counter with the menu posted on the wall. This is a creole down home place. Nothing matches, but you feel comfortable with good... More

Best shrimp po boys ever! Stuffed! Yummy gumbo! We don't eat there often, but it is a must have when family comes to visit!

Great food and if you love eating at places that you can tell are local this is the place to go. The poboys were good and portions were huge. My only regret is that I didn't get the crawfish poboy or bread pudding. The people were also very friendly. My niece left something on the table and they had it... More
