Bon Creole was recommended to us by the people at the Konriko Rice Mill. We stopped in on their recommendation. It isn't a huge place so I'd avoid the lunch rush if possible. We got there a little before noon and it was already fairly full. The lady who took our order was friendly and helpful. My wife, daughter and... More

We were in New Iberia on vacation and I went to Trip Advisor to seek out a place to go eat at for that night. After reading many reviews we settled on Bon Creole Seafood because of the high rating it had and sounded like a laid back place which is what we were in the mode for. The reviews... More

Wind your way through the one way streets to find this place. This is is truly a Cajun restaurant. Got there right around lunch and it was packed with locals (I could tell by the accents). It was a Cajun seafood feast. I got the combination po-boy. This gave me everything I wanted in one sandwich. If you are even... More

This is a must do in New Iberia. The Bon Creole has the best Po Boys we have ever had. The prices are very reasonable and the food is great. It is not a fancy looking restaurant and you would probably drive by it if you had not been told about it. Don't let looks deceive you. The fact that... More

Always great Poboys. I have been here a year ago, and again recently. The Poboys are always excellent. It is a small place and very easy to miss when driving along, but the food is well worth the trip. I would recommend this to anyone. For casual dining, this is a 5...

I agree with other reviewers about the difficulty of finding this hidden gem -- I passed the totally nondescript building three times, if it had been a pit stop on The Amazing Race I'd have lost! -- but do indeed search it out. A real Cajun roadside hole in the wall. Scary decor of buffalo and deer heads mounted on... More

My wife and I were doing an RV tour of South Louisiana Cajun Country after visiting the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival, and found our way to New Iberia to visit the Konrico Rice mill and Tobasco factory on Avery Island and absorb some more cajun ambience. Read the reviews of Bon Creole, and decided to give it a try. This... More

By far the best seafood poboys in the area. Service is friendly and the food is plenty. We usually just call in the order and pick it up, but they do have limited seating there.

I live very close to this restaurant so we eat here often. It's your typical south Louisiana family place with great fried seafood, yummy burgers, and wonderful gumbo. Eating in or getting take out, it's always fast and very fresh. Their French bread for the po-boys is very much like what you would get in New Orleans and the sandwiches... More

THIS IS what chicken & sausage gumbo should taste like! Fantastic! Glad someone posted a pic of the outside of the building otherwise we may have never found it. Very clean inside. Next time I'm in the area will go again for a different dish.
