I have fond memories of The Landing on the strip and then as they moved to Front Street. It was always great service and great food. But now, I cannot step into the place. Service was very bad, food was even worse. from the 80s (great) and to now (really bad). I took my mother for lunch and wow!, really... More

I was here around 1pm and decided to try the brunch. Most of it was very old and cold. Mgr. said that this happened when it was slow. What a comment to make to a guest. They did bring fresh out when I mentioned it but it too tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. Best part was the... More

I had boiled shrimp. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The seasoning was just right, not hot at all.

A little crowded. Had to wait over 30 minutes for a table for 2, but once we were seated, service and food were good. Location is very easy to get to, but parking may be limited, so you may have to park down the street and walk back to the restaurant.

My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. We had fried green tomatoes, blacken catfish with crawfish ettoufee over rice and fries oysters. The presentation and taste of the fried tomatoes was simple but elegant. The blacken catfish spicy flavor was just right. Instead of a heavy breading the oysters batter was cornmeal being able to taste more... More

Pork chops with fig sauce were really flavored well but a little tough. The trout with rosemary potatoes was perfect.

The food is wonderful, especially the filet! My husband says the oysters are cooked to perfection. The atmosphere equals the outstanding food.

We went here because the higher-rated Merci Beaucoup doesn't open in the evenings. We had fried green tomatoes and boudins for starters. The tomatoes were mostly tasteless, but the boudins were hot and very tasty. For mains, we went for meat pies and crab cakes. These arrived when we were only halfway through the starters. The two crab cakes were... More
