While spending a week in Natchitoches, we kept driving by Nicky's on our way to the ballpark and other activities. Each time we passed the restaurant, we noticed LOTS of cars in the parking lot, which made us curious. Finally, we just had to stop and see for ourselves... and we were rewarded with the most delicious Mexican food ever.... more

I have eaten at Nicky's many times and have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. They use college and high school students as waiters and they do a great job. The food is always good. The salsa dip is always good and I highly recommend the cheese enchalates and shrimp fajitas. more

I grew up in Shreveport/Bossier-home of the original Nicky's. It was my first Mexican food experience. I judge all other Mexican food by it. There are 2 cults in Shreveport-Monjuni's the Italian place and Nicky's-Mexican. The most loyal clientele supports both for the quality of food and value of money and friendliness of service.
