Had the blackened catfish creole and that was amazingly good, and plenty of fish too - but the appetizer crab and crawfish dip with home made chips was just out of this world !! Also have two beers. I expected the total cost to be about 50% higher than it was - wow - amazing seafood and great value too!... More

My wife and I were staying in the Church Street Inn, so we went in the back entrance in the hotel parking lot to order some to go deserts. The waitress who took our order was very nice, but another waitress was not very nice when needing to get by where we were standing. The deserts were okay. We liked... More

I had the appetizer fried alligator, a side of cajun mashed potatoes & all of it was good. My daughter got the blackened chicken breast w steamed broccoli and the hubby got a ribeye w they same. We were a group of 8 and the service was good. The food was over-spiced - to where you couldn't taste the fish. The best choice was the fried seafood platter and the boiled shrimp appetizer. Avoid anything with a sauce.

We have heard rave reviews of the place. We were traveling through with 5 Volleyball girls and their parents. We wanted to show off the town since our daughter will be playing volleyball at NSU in the fall of 2016. Location is amazing. Great view. They were able to seat us fairly quick. Food arrived ok considering it was packed.... More

Stopped in for oysters , shrimp and local fair. Had 1/2 dozen oyster on half shell that were AWESOME. Mother's "helpers" count 8 as a 1/2 dozen!!! And they were two biters!! The shrimp my wife had were size 15/18 and she had 16. I also got the trio of fried frog legs, fried gator and fried "mudbug" tails. Really... More

Mama's is a family oriented restaurant for all ages. Lots of memorabilia throughout. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a seafood restaurant but next door is Papa's which is a meaty place. One of my grandkids wanted a hamburger instead of seafood and the waitress ordered it from next door and delivered it to our table with... More
