One dot is for the view & the other is for the food. The 3 negative dots are for awful service. We've been here a few times and with that I'm certain they administer IQ tests to prospective employees then take the lowest performers. This time our server forgot a soup, my entree was incomplete, we had to flag her... More

Loved the location and atmosphere, it sits right on Sibley Lake. We watched the sun go down from our table, very beautiful. The food on the other hand was not good, other than the salad bar. Wouldn't go again.

One of my favorite places to eat and gather with friends for a good time. It was very busy the night we went, but, worth the wait. Great service! We go any chance we get!

Our evening started with drinks on the deck overlooking the lake. Then we moved into a table by the window to finish out the sunset. The soup of the day was very spicy. My husband's salmon was ordered medium and he said if there was a next time it would be medium rare because it was overcooked. The Salad Bar... More

When visiting Natchitoches, LA. If you are looking for a great meal over the water, try Mariners . Overall they have the best food in Natchitoches. Others have some items better, but as I said , overall this is the best. Fantastic food and good service also.

my stuffed flounder was amazing and the food presentation was perfect! Even on a very busy night. My husband's steak was over cooked and he never received his soup (so he didn't get to eat) as the wait for our food was extremely long. They are on the water which is beautiful-but going at night and sitting inside you can't... More

Beautiful views of the lake. Food is above average and service is excellent. Very nice atmosphere. Great place to watch the sunset and have a drink.

The first evening in Natchitoches we asked our hosts for a recommendation for a restaurant and were told that Mariner's was their favorite restaurant for seafood and had great sunsets. The restaurant is located on a small peninsula out in the lake and we were seated on the west side by the window so we could see the sunsets best.... More

Mariners was once our favorite seafood restaurant in central Louisiana. This was where my wife 1st tried oysters on the 1/2 she'll, the salad bar was excellent & entrees consistently very good. While always a little pricey for the area, it boasted a very nice lake view. But that was in the past. Now, it is merely an overpriced average... More

Nice restaurant on the lake. Three separate areas to dine: Bar/Lounge, Dining Room, and casual dining room that overlooks the lake. This is quiet and romantic :) Food was very good and selection is great. Prices are very reasonable and service is very good as well. It is a 45 minute drive from Alexandria and worth it. Most important at... More
