Very good

We ate inside and sat by the window. The service was very good. We ordered cocktails and wanted to enjoy those before we went to the salad bar. Our waiter came out about fifteen minutes later and said our meal was ready. We had to get our salad bar sooner than we wanted but it's a great salad... read more

We stopped here tonight for dinner and it was the best choice for a restaurant on our trip so far. The food was awesome, hot, and cooked to perfection! Our server Katy was outstanding, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful. A hearty well done to all!! If you are ever in this area do not pass up this... More

Our waiter was totally out of touch with reality! Waited for service, waited for drinks, waited to be checked on for needs, waited on billing, went to counter to pay and told had to see waiter, found her in bar and told her we needed our bill....she forgot! She needs to find another profession and management needs to clue in... More

A little pricier than I would have liked but still the best food we found for dinner. Beautiful views.

Go casual or go for fine dining. This is the finest restaurant in Natchitoches. You can have a fine dinner in the main room or eat in the bar. The main room has top steaks or seafood dinners and the bar has an inexpensive daily special with wide screen TV for sports viewing. I had a coupon from the motel... More

A little surprised that folks here want to ruin good LA crab by frying their crab cakes. Wouldn't recommend ordering. Food was OK. Being a Monday night it wasn't busy. Waiter was a college student but did a good job .

This place was recommended by the clerk at the Holiday Inn Express. We liked the location, right on the lake shore. It was a Monday night, so we just walked in without reservations and got a table overlooking the lake. Service was quick, friendly and efficient (cudos, Mark). One of us had the soup and steak and thought is was... More

A great restaurant with white linens and service to match. My favorite is the Bourbon Street....blackened fish filet topped with lump crabmeat dressing. Add a loaded baked potato and you will be pleased. The salad bar is large with an excellent assortment. The steaks are excellent as well. We have not had a bad meal fro Mariners over the years.... I make it a point to investigate before choosing a place to eat. Usually I know what we'll like. For whatever the reason, the reviewers seem not to have known how really bad the food was. But, I can see how it could have happened. If you ordered something plain and straightforward, it'll be fine. The steamed vegetables were fine.... More
