copelands of Monroe

The catfish ricochet is the best I have ever eaten at Copelands in Monore. The pecan sauce on top of the catfish is rich and delicious. Their signature cheesecake rounds out the meal for a wonderful experience. However, the Sunday Brunch leaves much to be desired.

do yourself a favor and pass on this one. Food quality is terrible. I've had better food on a free continental breakfast at the motel. Waffles were good but you had to wait in line about 15 minutes to get one because they didn't have enough help.

Wonderful experience. We were seated promptly and our server was very attentive. The manager even stopped by our table to check on us. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

I can't say much for the food that I got. Nothing wrong but not special either. Not at all what the name and surroundings imply.

My family decided to stop in and give this place a try. We all agreed that it was way over priced for below average food. My red beans and rice were a joke!! We had a variety of entrees and they were all a disappointment. It's hard to swallow paying a bill that high after you get a bad meal.... More

We really enjoy Copeland's for the many different entree's they offer. They have excellent fresh fish dishes with shrimp and crayfish etouffee. They serve great salads and steaks that come from a local cattle farm. Deserts are very good too. The décor is nice and the service good. A pleasant place to eat.

I've been here a few times and the food was tasty but nothing spectacular. I prefer a more local vibe and Copeland's has a "franchise" feel in my opinion. Service has ranged from ok to downright horrible.

So So Restaurant, especially on Sunday Brunch! Not so good. Had to wait a good while because we ordered off of the Menu rather than Buffet. Meal was not nearly as good as Copelands in New Orleans. Sorry about that.
