The decor appears to be from the 60s but they have great food and the staff is awesome. I travel to Monroe for business and make sure I stop in several times

Even if the food is delicious, it loses its appeal when the restaurant is not neat and tables are not cleaned. I have been going to Ray's for decades and love the po-boys!! The fries are great....taste homemade but staff needs to pay attention to details and service.

We were driving through Monroe and decided to see if Ray's was still here. The roast beef Po Boys were great, fries were still as we remembered, delicious! We had fun, liked the restaurant and will stop by again.

I have searched the area for the best hot dog, and by golly I believe this place has it! The bun is fresh, the weiner properly cooked, large selection of toppings, and great chili! So when you want a hot dog, the place is on N. 7th in West Monroe. I know there are other locations, but the owners, and... More

Searched online for top Monroe Burger Joints, saw good things about this spot. Wasted 20 minutes of travel time off of our route to give it a shot. There was a sign on the door saying they would be closed Sunday/Monday. Plus, the hours on the window were different than the website, which would have still messed us up if... More

Having eaten at both old rays vs new rays for over 20 years now I can say that with new management the bread for the roast beef poboys is fresher now than it was with the old crew. Same gravy recipe is used now as it has always been. Fried chicken is a true treat as are the poboys. Hubby... More
