Went here with high expectations & boy was I disappointed! The 2 best things were my blueberry drink & the bacon wrapped duck pepper appetizers. I ordered the filet special medium rare on the rare side. & it was pink on the inside. Another of our guests ordered the rib eye well done & it was charred on the outside... More

I found this to be one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in North Louisiana. The food was good, and the staff was excellent. Our server was attentive and helpful in his suggestions. I enjoyed the deviled egg appetizer. It is rare that I can find deviled eggs on menus so this was a nice surprise.

We went for lunch. The service was ok. Our waiter didn't know anything about the beer they had. Food was excellent. I had a crab cake that actually had big chunks of crab in it. My dad says they have a better menu at dinner. They pride themselves on using local food. The chef has one tons of awards, including... More

Ate dinner last week with friends; ordered baked oysters for appetizer, and they were over the top and I am an oyster lover. Good as any in New Orleans. The black Drum seafood was also just excellent, very flavorable and cooked to perfection. Also had their small fried potatoes, which were great. Service was excellent, although the server talked so... More

My husband and I were visiting my family in Monroe and looking for a place open a bit later since we were driving in and were running late. He found this place online; I confess I'd never heard of it, despite visiting Monroe a lot. The reviews were great and it was open later than some of our other Monroe... More

Cotton's is a scenic 200 year old building on the Oauchita River. Beautiful decor on the inside. I ate there 2 weeks ago; the food and service were exceptional. The shrimp and grits were delicious. Also, the Red Bean Humus and white bean lunch special were also great. I ate there today and found the grits to be slightly undercooked... More

We came here on a recommendation, and with the highest expectations. Some were met, others badly not. Many of the recommendations were in the "Shares" menu. The duck fat fries were a bit overfried and good but unexceptional (3*). The Louisiana Blue Crab gnocchi" were good, but on the creamy bland side (3*). The "Roasted Louisiana Oysters" were very good,... More

Party of three had various entrees at lunch and they were all good - shrimp and grits, fried catfish and the meatloaf sandwich. The star of the meal was the duck wrap appetizer. It was so delicious we had to order it a second time. I also had the Farmers Fizz Cocktail which was very tasty. We were seated upstairs... More
