Belly Full!

I was hesitant I wouldn't like anything. I was wrong! I had the trio of steak that was to die for. I recommend getting the duck wraps and pimento appetizer! You won't be disappointed!

We had a very long wait on all aspects of our dinner. Drinks, apps & entrees. But of the 3 of us all but 1 enjoyed the meal. Stuffed eggs were really good & the sharecropper cocktail, right up my alley.

On a business trip to Louisiana, my first time in the south, I was very excited to have me some good southern food. My associates and I found this restaurant via phone app and it sounded so good. I ordered the duck confit with a side of cheese grits, delicious! We were a rather large group of people yet the... More

Everything was excellent from the appetizers to the whiskey menu. Everyone should try this place we visited from Kansas City Mo and we absolutely loved it! We will go again.

Cotton is a surprise. First, you're in Monroe, LA, and your expectations are low. This is not New Orleans, but that doesn't stop this restaurant from offering a very special assortment of dishes. The catfish was a treat. A kind of Cajun bouillabaisse. And probably the best variation on an Old Fashioned I've tried: Old Smoky. Worth a visit just... More

We're not from here and have only visited once, for 3 days. But it was our impression that this restaurant is very likely one of the best in Monroe. We ate here twice during our 3 day stay! The service was excellent both times. Attentive, friendly, helpful. The waitstaff was well informed about the menu choices and made excellent recommendations.... More

We stopped here for dinner while passing through town. Building was beautiful, menu was creative and food was amazing. Definitely recommend the duck fat fries and duck wraps.

Housed in a Riverside classic building this place was a great place from the Chef who won Season 12 of "Chopped". I started with a nice Spinish Salad with candied Pecans and then had some Shrimp and Grits. My co-worker had the Mississippi Quail on Waffle which is truely a haute cuisine twist on chicken and waffles. Service was very... More

Served on black eyed peas and collard greens was delicious. Sausage was made in house had a sweet smokey flavor and the duck cooked to perfection, lightly crispy on the outside and juicy meat inside. Nice setting for couples and small parties (less than 10), but there is a second floor for larger parties.

Stopped on our way through Monroe going from Jackson to Dallas. Called when we were 5 minutes away and Lance Zeigler got us in no problem. So many excellent choices it was too hard to choose but the wait and kitchen staff accommodated us by mixing two half order appetizers together - deviled eggs & pimento cheese beignets. DELICIOUS!
