My wife and I celebrated our 44th anniversary at Cotton's. We had several appetizers which were very good. I had quail for my entre and my wife had shrimp and grits. We shared an dessert. The only downside was that quoted me $15 for a corkage fee and charged me $20. It wasn't the $5 that bothered me, but they... More

From the muscovy duck wraps to the field pea hummus to the pimento cheese beignets, this place held its own to the finest Louisiana restaurants. For the main course I had the beef trio. Each of the three was unique with its sauce and preparation. It just simply worked. The suggested wine was splendid as well. I'd stop by Monroe... More

The food here is simply unmatched. Absolutely the best in town. Can't miss the smoked duck breast. If the fried green tomatoes are on the menu, they are must try.

We've dined all over the U.S. And Internationally. This place makes it on list of top 5 restaurants we've ever dined!! And so unexpected in Monroe, LA! Try their collard greens, chicken n waffles and shrimp n grits. All are incredible.

I dined in at Cotton, and the experience overall was enjoyable. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was really wonderful. The food, however, was not as tasteful as the surroundings. If you are looking for a place with reasonable prices and quality food, Cotton is most likely not for you. I will say that the Duck Wrap appetizers are... More

Hubby and I went in for an early dinner. Ended up splitting two appetizers as we both weren't very hungry. We had the duck wraps and a crab gnocchi pasta dish. Both were delicious. Bread was very good. As the sister of a beekeeper loved that they used local products. Look forward to returning and trying more items on the... More

First time at Cotton I had heard many good reviews. We were seated without wait and the service was very good. our food arrived timely and the presentation was great. The only issue was was the rice in the gumbo was not quite cooked enough and the gumbo itself was not very warm. I wish we would brought it to... More

Innovative chef with great food. Enjoyed a great business lunch. Live in Monroe and could go to any number of good restaurants, but chose Cotton because of the chef, staff and wonderful food.

What a great experience of modern LA cuisine. From the charcuterie to the fish entrees to the fried pie dessert, each course was exceptional. The collard greens were enlivened by really tasty bacon pieces and a "kick" at the end of each bite. My blackened red fish was not over seasoned and cooked perfectly.
