I am a big fan of Monjuni's. A great variety of colorful lamps hang from the ceiling. Old posters and prints dot the walls. The booths are cozy. The lighting is muted. It's a nice place to go for a relatively quiet evening. The staff is friendly and loves to converse, and I love to converse with them. The food... More

Service was great. The bread & dipping sauce placed on table was wonderful. They have (2) sauces, the sweet original and the Basil sauce which is not near as sweet. Everything is good here people it's all homemade from scratch. The pasta is fantastic on Friday they always have a lunch special. This is a locally owned and operated family... More

I love the Pasta Salad with Shrimp and Artichokes. The Spagetti has a sweet sauce, but you can order it with a tomato basil sause too.

The atmosphere and overall feel of the restraunt was average. The sauce was the worst I have ever had. It was very sweet. No tomato or garlic flavor at all. Just very sweet. This ruined the meal. My wife ordered the New Orleans shrimp and egg plant pasta. 4 shrimp and 1 thin slice of egg plant! Not jumbo shrimp... More

This was probably the worse Italian restaurant I have every eaten in. The bread was stale and the veal was tough and looked like it was just slopped together. The sauce is way to sweet. No, we will not be coming back to Monjunis. Also overpriced for the quality of food.

Monjuni's is always great. The food is excellent and the service is good. Don't get buy one meatball - they are huge. Large portions at a reasonable price. Good atmosphere.

Looks like one of the best kept secrets in town. This restaurant moved to a better location. It wasnt crowded so we stoppped in for dinner. I had the lasagna and the wife had the spaghetti. Both were really good and tyhe portions were huge. Service and food delivery were fast.

The sauce or "gravy" for dipping the toasted bread in is great. It is a little sweet and tangy at the same time. You could seriously make a meal out of it!

Best place to eat in Monroe. Delicious, fun, festive, happy place with great food. The lasagna is crazy good, and the Monjunis salad (the one that is divided into thirds.... 1/3 shrimp salad, pasta salad, chopped salad) is delicious. Get both. :)

Great place for lunch, and the dark, very sweet Sicilian Marinara is outstanding. Very good value, and the meatballs are exceptional. Caution... Don't fill up on the complimentary toasted French bread and sauce before your order arrives!
