I ate a quick lunch here one day this week. I sat at the bar and had some wonderful raw oysters. It was a quick in and out trip, as I had a meeting to attend. If you want great oysters, this is the place for a quick dozen!

Traveling for business and was looking for a good seafood place that wouldn't break the bank. Found it! This place is really good! Prompt service. Good raw oysters. Had the fried fish pontchartrain with the sauce on top...so good! Taking bread pudding dessert to go...can't wait to try it! Ambiance is ok. It is loud but I was by myself... More

The food is always good and the closeness to our hotel made it easy to get to. Parking can be a bit tight on busy nights but the adjacent shopping center usually has spaces open a short walk away. The atmosphere can be noisy so don't assume you can carry on much of a dinner conversation. All the wait staff... More

A group of my family and friends and I are here Saturday night. It was once again, a fantastic experience. The food was great, service was great, and as always, the atmosphere is welcoming. We ordered a variety of dishes between the eight of us, and everything came out freshly cooked, proper temperature, and in great portions. We will continue... More

This branch of Acme is on Veteran's Highway in Metairie. I know of three, one in the French Q., one on the North Shore and this one. I usually favor this one because of its convenient location and the easy parking. It is good, make no mistake. The oyster dishes, including the char-grilled, are excellent. On our last visit, though,... More

Was taken there by my cousins who are New Orleaneans. Really good oysters - including some very tasty baked ones. I also had the seafood gumbo and the shrimp poo boy! yummmy....really good! Overall a very unpretentious place where you can get away from us loud turists and have great food.

Went with a large group of business associates most of whom had never had Cajun food. They were all able to find something they liked and everyone raved about the quality and portion size if the food. service was great and food was great.
