I love the fried and grilled oysters here. A taste you'll never forget...My friend and I went here just for a quick meal. The food was delicious and the wait staff was awesome.

Grilled oysters are amazing. I used to play music at a restaurant in California and they had a celebration one year and the owners brought n a selection of raw oysters. This was my first time trying raw oysters and my first time drinking vodka and my first time eating oyster shooters with vodka. These ones at the acme grilled... More

We went to Acme Oyster House today and had a wonderful time. We ordered the captain's platter for 2. When they say for 2 they actually mean for 3, it was amazing and so good, we also got the oyster soup. The staff was so wonderful and helpful. Thanks to Joe, Kateriha and Sam everything was amazing. And yes my... More

Give the grilled oysters a try. Very good! Did have to wait for a table but only about 10 minutes. Staff was knowledgable and service was good.

We visit Acme frequently. The flame broiled oysters are so good. Our last visit we had 2-dozen instead of dinner. They are absolutely the best in all of New Orleans!!!

My friends and family have been to this Acme location on several occasions over the years. There is another location in New Orleans; however, we prefer this location. They have the best food and service. My favorite dish is the charbroiled oyster. They are so delicious. I also like the gumbo. To top it off, the drinks are good and... More

The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't that great. Tried the New Orleans medley. Gumbo was a little too salty and brothy. The jambalaya was kind of bland, I've actually had better at cajun themed restaurants here at home in Wisconsin. I was hoping to get a taste of the best New Orleans food and just came away with "meh".

I stopped in here one night earlier this week about an hour and a half before closing. I sat at the bar because I just wanted raw oysters. The oysters were really good but before I could get 4 of them down, the bartenders printed my check and asked if I wanted anything else. Seriously? Let me eat in peace.... More

Acme Butterfly Shrimp and Soft Shell Crabs ROCK! Visited ACME Oyster House on Veterans near Causeway Blvd in Metairie La., This was the only location I could find which matches but it was not in Lakeview, I just believe there is an ACME in Lakeview, even tho that's where T.A. says it is.... Any-who..... I rave about the Soft Shell... More
