Very good seafood in Metairie

We had lunch during the weekday. Parking lot was almost completely full, not sure where overflow parking would be. Easy to get to, right on Veterans, close to the causeway boulevard. We wanted to experience seafood and New Orleans classic dishes. This was the place to go!!! Great food, reasonable prices and excellent service!! My husband wasn't sure he would like the grilled oysters so they brought him one to try before he ordered.

From the moment we got there, we were immediately seated. The place had a nice atmosphere. Being from the deserts of New Mexico, I had never had fresh oysters. This was a new experience for me. I promised my friends I'd try new foods. They ordered fresh oysters, char grilled oysters, shrimp, and I ordered Jambalaya. It was good. The... More

Lives up to everything I have been told. My raw oysters were HUGE. It was really cool watching the guys shuck them at the bar. They were pros. I had a Cajun sampler too and it was also awesome. The red beans and rice were top notch. My girlfriend had the oyster Po Boy and she still hasn't stopped talking... More

At Metarie location all the atmospere wih less crowds than the French Quarter location. I had one hafl fish PoBoy and red beans and rice. It was the Best! Fresh, tasty and the beer icy cold. Service was excellent. Best grilled oysters we've ever had.

Have been twice now to acme and have enjoyed the food and drinks both times. Charbroiled oysters both times and a po-boy and shrimp separately. Oysters are tasty, not the best po boy but good and shrimp was decent. Very busy both times, sat at the bar both times and bar staff was friendly but busy. I'll come back for... More

Fantastic oysters on the 1/2 shell. The grilled version was "ok", but not really my thing. Big "thumbs up" by the Other Eater for the seafood etouffe. VERY friendly & attentive staff, esp the Mgr Alfred. We'll be back next time we're in town. :)

This was a fantastic place. It is a causal setting. My husband had a crawfish Po boy which was good. We also ordered the grilled oysters which were AMAZING. I had the fried soft shell crab which I have never had before and I really enjoyed it! I would definently come back here!
