We went to Acme Oyster House today and had a wonderful time. We ordered the captain's platter for 2. When they say for 2 they actually mean for 3, it was amazing and so good, we also got the oyster soup. The staff was so wonderful and helpful. Thanks to Joe, Kateriha and Sam everything was amazing. And yes my... More

We visit Acme frequently. The flame broiled oysters are so good. Our last visit we had 2-dozen instead of dinner. They are absolutely the best in all of New Orleans!!!

My friends and family have been to this Acme location on several occasions over the years. There is another location in New Orleans; however, we prefer this location. They have the best food and service. My favorite dish is the charbroiled oyster. They are so delicious. I also like the gumbo. To top it off, the drinks are good and... More

I stopped in here one night earlier this week about an hour and a half before closing. I sat at the bar because I just wanted raw oysters. The oysters were really good but before I could get 4 of them down, the bartenders printed my check and asked if I wanted anything else. Seriously? Let me eat in peace.... More

This place was awesome. Super casual and food was excellent. Their jambalaya was exactly what I needed to feel like I was in Nola. A must!!

Can't say enough good stuff about this place! I had been told how good the food is, and our group of four went here for dinner on a week night. The place was busy, busy, busy, but our wait was only about 10 minutes or so. Our first visit, each of us ordered something different so we could taste each... More

The fried shrimp, gumbo, hot wings, and frozen strawberry margarita was great!. We actually ate here 2 times while visiting. The waitress was very attentive and personable; she gave us suggestions on other restaurants to try in the New Orleans area. I will definitely visit Acme when I visit New Orleans again.

Decent prices and very good food. They have a fish of the day which have grilled. The only negative is they rely on Salmon to much, but now and again will Amber Jack or Redfish which they really do well. The rest restaurant is not very far and do enjoy it at lest once every two month. They is saying... More

I heard this restaurant was very good. I wasn't really hungry the night we went so I ordered a small bowl of the etouffee and a beer. The etouffee was absolutely delicious! When I was leaving there was a line of people waiting to be seated (you know that means it's good)! The service was great. The gentleman who served... More

This is a very busy location that still manages to give good service. The food was excellent. I went there 2 times on my visit to New Orleans. It was one of the few places that I received good customer service. We had the fried fish, fried shrimp, fried soft shell crab, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and gumbo. It... More
