Ok so anyone who watched the episode on Mystery Diners with the rude waitress Dee Dee ....She is an actress and her real name is Deenie Castleberrie Google her. Just saw her on my sons fav show I carly . Mystery Diners is fake. I don't know why a buisness would risk such bad publicity. I know after seeing that... More

The name is deceiving...this is a full-fledged restaurant with lots of menu choices...pastas, tamales, burgers, sandwiches. It is a crowded, loud atmosphere, but we did not have to wait. It seems like a family-owned place with lots of locals. The food is out of this world. I had the shrimp pasta...best pasta I have ever had. My son had a... More

Wish I had tried the seafood po-boy. The roast beef was featured on Anthony Bourdain, so I gave it a try. My friend from Lakeview raves about the place. The roast beef sandwich was more like a Cuban-- ham and swiss cheese with mayonnaise on a french baguette then covered with debris (roast beef simmered down in its own juice).... More

The place is really good food wise! My parents were in town from Fl and just loved the roast beef po boys but it is so loud you can't talk without yelling. Worth it for the food but be ready to wait for it and not talk while eating.

Honestly, I've never had pizza here. I always get a poboy or seafood. You gotta try this place. Lots of room for seating and handling large tables of up to 8 people. The R&O Special is AWESOME. It's a ham and roast beef poboy that is extremely tasty. Good onion rings too. And of course, The seafood poboys are some... More

I spent a week in New Orleans in July. I made t my mission to eat Roast Beef Po Boys at all the best places possible. No other place compares to R&O's. This is the very best Roast Beef Po Boy I have ever eaten.. hands down!!!!! In addition to the Po Boy, all the other food seems to be... More

Busy, noisy, casual restaurant with food for everyone. Lots of families, kids, but they still keep the noise level where you can have a conversation. A great value.

Probably the best gumbo in the city, but you really can't go wrong with ordering anything from this menu. Evrything is great: pizza, pasta, seafood, salad, etc. - and reasonably priced too. The only negative thing I could say is that its fairly noisy, but that's not unusual for your casual New Orleans seafood reastaurant.

R&Os offers something for everyone. The large menu has po'boys, seafood dishes, Italian food and pizzas. Everything is very good. They buy great seeded french bread at the restaurant, which comes on the side with Italian dishes and is the base for delicious po'boys. The roast beef is one of the best in the city, and the seafood platters are... More
