this is a wonderful restaurant that is ALWAYS jammed packed. Must try the charbroiled oysters.....like no where else!! The Italian dishes are all excellent and even the lobster! Haven't had a bad meal EVER!

As always the food is great!! Only place you should go for broiled oysters!! I also had the shrimp and crabmeat Alfredo and it was very good. And my wife had the surf and turf grilled and was just as good!! You really can't go wrong eating at Drago's!!

Service is good. Food is good. The best thing offered, usually*, are the charbroiled oysters in mouth-watering butter (butt-a). Be sure to order extra French bread so you can sop up all of the extra butter (butt-a), and, thus, clog any of your open arteries. Loud environment, great to bring family, parking is often an issue. Overall, honest good food... More

On business in the area and a colleague recommended this place. Sat at the bar as I usually do when I eat alone. Had a Blue Moon and a 1/2 dozen grilled oysters. Really enjoyed them. Very unique. Had the Hadurrian Shrimp dish over angel hair pasta. It tasted wonderful also. Very happy with this place and would recommend.

The char-grilled oysters are the best in town served with French bread. A do not miss when visiting New Orleans.

First time we went there (and to think I had lived in New Orleans for 6 years in the 60s and never went) I was told to be sure to order a half dozen of the charbroiled oysters. As I don;t usually eat oysters, I was a bit hesitant. By the time I left I had eaten a dozen and... More

This is a fantastic restaurant, with great oysters, seafood and really tasty food. The only downside is that it is popular with the locals!!! Sometimes there can be a long wait. But the place has expanded upstairs so you could be seated quickly. No reservations.

We sought this restaurant for our Monday, April14th dinner to reward my sweetheart for a difficult business day. It was raining furiously, and the parking lot was packed and full of potholes. Thoughtfully, Drago's had umbrella bags! But, that's where the thoughtfulness ended..... Our server was nice, but didn't deliver extra napkins nor cajun spices, which we requested....twice! The grilled... More
