Best crawfish and corn bisque

Ate here last night, honestly because R&os was closed. And it was delicious. Grilled oysters to rival Dragos but faster and cheaper. Had pecan encrusted trout that was delicious as well. Very reasonable. The new outside seating is nice as well.

I love love seafood therefore i know being born in New Orleans was no accident...LOL. There isn't anything on menu at N.O. Food & Spirits I don't like. Love the fried oyster platter taste clean no repeating hours later and get good quantity on all dishes ordered... anywhere else you could quickly count the few you would get on plate.... More

Planned to go Deanies an old time favorite , but was closed on Father s Day. So we decided on New Orleans Food and Spirit which was open. Had a little wait of 30 minutes for a table which was understandable on the special day. Long story short ordered the the charbroiled oysters and seafood platters and drinks. Service by... More

This restaurant was the best introduction to New Orleans cuisine that I could likely have ever had. I started with some HUGE chargrilled oysters, had the homemade potato salad (literally felt like dessert) and enjoyed the Pontchartrain Crabcakes with Crawfish sauce of angel hair pasta... AMAZING. Total changed my perception on what a crabcake should be like - 95% of... More

Noisy, neighborhood place that has AWESOME food. Lunch is nuts busy but they get you in and served quickly. Dinner is not so busy but AWESOME food. Prices are best and the locals eat here as it is tucked away from tourist crowds. ALWAYS good food and price and service. Staff are local folk and they are friendly, efficient but... More

New Orleans Food & Spirits offers a big variety of local favorites. The PoBoys are awesome, the red beans & rice ranks up there with the best, jambalaya was awesome & the gumbo was really good. Service was a little sketchy, but it was Mardi Gras & they were slammed. Good food & great atmosphere

Went with a group of 11 people. We were seated quickly. The food was served in a timely manner and all at one time. I tried the Red Fish Pontchartrain while my wife ordered the Catfish Loozianne. Both were excellent with well cooked main courses and sides with subtleties of flavor. My brother ordered the Seafood Platter which he could... More

Had relatives in town so we ate out a lot. This place had the best seafood gumbo I've had, so everyone else in the group had to order it and try it. It was outstanding! The one-large dining room is typical of New Orleans seafood restaurants, so it can get a bit loud.

This is my second favorite restaurant next to dragos and their food is so good and reasonable during lunch hours. I love the redfish pinch strain which is a blackened redfish with crawfish past over angel hit. Makes u wanna slap somebody, lol it's so good. This time I had the grilled shrimp salad and it had a lot of... More
