We stopped here half hour before closing and were welcomed like it was their grand opening. Great service, great food, great value. We tried char-grilled oysters for the 1st time and the were wonderful. You should also try the crawfish sauce, voo doo rolls, crab cakes and blackened fish. Everything was tasty. Our waitress, Natalie was extremely kind and helpful.

I realize that this was renovated some time ago but hadn't been in a while. Very good food here and a good value, and nice to add another place to the list that has outdoor dining. The crawfish corn soup is some of the best in the city, along with Vincents on St. Charles. There is always an interesting special... More

I am from Nawlins originally and visiting Dad this weekend. Had a great lunch today in bucktown on the lake. We both had lunch with a cup of gumbo and 1/2 shrimp poor boy "dressed" as we call it in New Orleans and a beer. Great fresh shrimp and nice batter. The shrimp were overflowing on the plate and the... More

Food very good and reasonably price. I love black beer drafts and this place has a good in an iced goblet. They have rabbit every Thursday for lunch and is done very well, however the Muffuletta is no good.

I visited New Orleans with my husband, who was there for business. We decided to head to New Orleans Food & Spirits for lunch due to a suggestion from a local. We were seated immediately (it was a little before noon), and the service was great! Since neither of us were extremely hungry, we opted to share an entree, and... More

My good friend kept bragging about this place. Finally, we visited. The best chargrilled oysters by far. People will brag on Acme and Dragos but please try these! Pleasant surprise. Plus the selections for an entree were Epic. I got a soft shell crab on a bed of pasta with a special sauce on top. So delicious! I also tried... More

Casual dinning with outside and inside seating. Fountain water/fire lights at night. Not much on parking spaces but I guess it was ample. The service was great. The drinks were just right, average restaurant prices. We had some type of dip (very good), shrimp platter was huge and the voodoo rolls were OUTSTANDING. The portions are huge and the prices... Definitely my favorite place to eat when in the Big Easy!! Found out about it while working on the owners boat! Have been there several times and can't wait to return!
