My good friend kept bragging about this place. Finally, we visited. The best chargrilled oysters by far. People will brag on Acme and Dragos but please try these! Pleasant surprise. Plus the selections for an entree were Epic. I got a soft shell crab on a bed of pasta with a special sauce on top. So delicious! I also tried... More

Casual dinning with outside and inside seating. Fountain water/fire lights at night. Not much on parking spaces but I guess it was ample. The service was great. The drinks were just right, average restaurant prices. We had some type of dip (very good), shrimp platter was huge and the voodoo rolls were OUTSTANDING. The portions are huge and the prices... Definitely my favorite place to eat when in the Big Easy!! Found out about it while working on the owners boat! Have been there several times and can't wait to return!

Visited New Orleans Food and Spirits during a business conference in early May. I had a taste for fresh, fried shrimp, and boy did the fried shrimp platter hit the spot! There was so much shrimp on the platter, I couldn't eat it all. I shared some with my cousin, and I asked for a to-go box. This is a... More

Just returned from dinner here with the wife and son. First impression was not good, parking space was difficult to find (parking lot is behind the restaurant and was full) Outside was not impressive, inside very simple and loud (great for families, not a romantic dinner). Food, however, was outstanding!! Voodoo crawfish rolls were out of this world, redfish with... More

This is a must if you come to New Orleans. The food here is really good! Love the seafood gumbo and potato salad.

Family restaurant with typical platters of fried seafood. Abita beer on tap, noisy (but you'd expect that), friendly service, rather inexpensive. Dull area of town (so you go there just to eat). You might want to try baked oysters and the fried shrimp salad.

I adore the crawfish corn soup here. There is a bit of crawfish in every spoonful. The spices are just right. I also like the voodoo rolls, but the last two times they have been undercooked and not very flavorful. Also, the price of $10.50 for 3 eggroll size pieces is high. I think I will pass on them from... More

The specials here are always interesting but the rabbit is extraordinary. The fried seafood is amongst the best in town. The cajun egg rolls are to die for and the service is prompt and friendly.

Were taken here by friends and it did not disappoint. Had the seafood gumbo, which was wonderful. Also had the catfish and stuffed eggplant for dinner and both were very good. Plenty to eat. Service was very good. Parking in front is limited but there is parking across the street. Prices were very reasonable..
