Fabulous!

If the title didn't say it all then let me add a couple notes! The Voo-Doo Crawfish Rolls and Char Grilled oysters were incredible as was our entrée! You will not be disappointed.

Went as a group of 6 and had an ook time. They sat us outside and the floor was a mess with paper and French fries. I've seen a lot of 4s and 5s as ratings and I equate those numbers to a 4 or 5 star dining experience. Its good but just that. Oysters good, oyster Florentine good, my... More

Amazing food at a "local" restaurant that I suspect most tourists miss. At the edge of Lake Pontchartrain sits a wonderful seafood experience with excellent Po' Boys and delicious gumbo! We felt fortunate to be brought there by New Orleans folks who know where to eat! Look forward to a return visit!

When I was reading the reviews, before I wrote this one, I was wondering if I had the right place. I had dinned here once before and the only reason I returned was because the restaurant next door, where I was meeting family, was closed for dinner. Arriving 20 minutes before everyone else, I asked for a table for 4... More

My wife and I love this great restaurant. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. My wife always orders one of the salads, which is piled high with fried or grilled shrimp. Great value too! I order an ice cold Canebreak beer in a huge frozen mug. Perfect. The fried seafood is excellent. The soft shell crab special... More

We were searching for someplace to eat away from the French Quarter so we drove out towards Baywater Park. We found this restaurant and was not disappointed! It is only about a 15 minute drive. We seemed to have gotten there before the rush and while we were dining the customers kept coming! (a very good sign!) We had their... More

During our month visit we ate at this restaurant several times and enjoyed the different dishes we tried. Really liked the char grilled Oysters.

This is a family friendly restaurant located near Lake Ponchartrain. The food is awesome. I think their char grilled oysters are the best of all offered in the city. The fried catfish is real and not the Swai cat fish that a lot of restaurant have been passing off as catfish. The food prices are reasonable and the portions are... More

I've been going here for years and the food is always great. The seafood is fresh and cooked perfectly. As the signs say, there may be a wait because they cook to order, but it is worth a bit of patience! Reservations are NOT accepted, but there is a bar so you can get a beverage while you wait. I...
