Nothing Special

I had the Cheeseburger Special with fries that was only $6.00 and it was OK. My hubby's Stuffed Shrimp were deep fried and overdone. I checked the salad bar for bugs and there were none in sight, still plastic bowls though.

Marksville doesn't have much to choose from, so after countless meals at the casino and the two Mexican joints, I was able to persuade my family to eat here. Not too busy for a Thursday evening. They had half of the restaurant's seating area closed. The service was real good and the food wasn't bad. I had the ribeye and... More

Went here for breakfast with the family. Food was ok, but nothing special. Servers were nice, just a tad slow to come and check on you though. Suppose this is fairly typical in a family-owned establishment.

A diner dive. Cheap diner with cheap ingredints. Catfish dinner not tasty. Hamburger steak was OK. Decor was shabby and outdated. Service was fair. I would not recommend.

I have eaten in Nanny's numerous times and the food has always been great, Changed hands about 4 years ago but still carries original owners' name. Current owners still cater to customers and food hasn't changed. Just a great family owned restaurant.

Nanny's has a very good country style breakfast menu. Their pancakes are wonderful ! Grits come out piping hot in a bowl to help keep them hot. Fresh country ham, along side eggs fried exactly as requested. Biscuit wasn't as good as I've had there in the past. might just have run out and had a substitute. It's just a... More
