Great Sunday Brunch

We have eaten here several times and gotten something different each time. Everything is good and it's nice to sit outside when it's not too hot. The outside tables are first come first serve so there is no line, USUALLY. The grits are very good. That is one thing that we get every time we go.

My wife and I fell in love with place the first time we visited back a few years ago. We've been back several times and have never been disappointed. We're heading back to Mandeville this afternoon and you can bet we'll be eating at The Broken Egg in the morning!!!

Horrible. Burned pancakes for my daughter, mushy "hasbrowns" for me. Outrageous prices, long waits. Why is there always a line here? $5 for chocolate milk?!?!

Great selection in a quaint setting. Big pancakes in town!! Go early because there is usually a crowd on the weekend!

Absolutely the best crabmeat omelette I have ever had! It's called The Floridian and they did not skimp on the crabmeat! Very delicious. So enjoyed going on morning in midweek instead of the weekend. No waiting, great service. Charming place in an old house, only a block from the beautiful lakefront with the beautiful homes in Mandeville.

This is my favorite restaurant in town. It's located in an old house in Mandeville so the decor is charming and all of the food is amazing. You can't go wrong with any of the breakfast food and the lunch items are just as tasty. I love their coffee too. We always take any visitors from out of town here... More

We have been hearing about Another Broken Egg from our adult kids who moved here almost four years ago. Finally the wife and I had a chance to try it out. This Sunday morning we walked in a little after nine without a wait. My wife raved about the "low country shrimp and grits" which came with a biscuit. I... More

The baqueso omelette was fabulous. Order a side of salsa with it! The service was a bit slower than anticipated but was adequate.

We needed to have routine car maintenance service, left the car off, and headed to the Broken Egg for breakfast. For three of us we had: Sweet Potatoe Pancakes ( sweet and excellent), Castine scrambled egg on Croussant (very good), and a Veggie egg benedict (also very good), and a 1/2 fruit plate. The servings are very large and we had... More

I ordered the Redfish Grill, and got enough food for an army! The redfish fillets were fresh, delectible and cooked firm and flaky, with a rich cream crawfish ettoufee sauce with sausage and other tasty tidbits. I finished about a third of it. The service was excellent and the waitress let us sit and chat for an hour, even though... More
