Our kids loved it, we do too

We have been hearing about Another Broken Egg from our adult kids who moved here almost four years ago. Finally the wife and I had a chance to try it out. This Sunday morning we walked in a little after nine without a wait. My wife raved about the "low country shrimp and grits" which came with a... read more

The baqueso omelette was fabulous. Order a side of salsa with it! The service was a bit slower than anticipated but was adequate.

We needed to have routine car maintenance service, left the car off, and headed to the Broken Egg for breakfast. For three of us we had: Sweet Potatoe Pancakes ( sweet and excellent), Castine scrambled egg on Croussant (very good), and a Veggie egg benedict (also very good), and a 1/2 fruit plate. The servings are very large and we had... More

I ordered the Redfish Grill, and got enough food for an army! The redfish fillets were fresh, delectible and cooked firm and flaky, with a rich cream crawfish ettoufee sauce with sausage and other tasty tidbits. I finished about a third of it. The service was excellent and the waitress let us sit and chat for an hour, even though... More

We live very near where the original broken egg got its start, Mandevilke, La. If you get a chance, don't gesitate eating at any of their locations. We've been to quite a few and they all are awesome! Great food, lots of it! Prices aren't bad and they make a great Bloody Mary. That's what gives it an A+ rating... More

Service is never good. And the wait is always long. While I love the biscuits here, I will gladly go to Liz's up the street if there is a wait. Better food, better service, shorter wait time.

This café is super yummy however is slightly expensive for what you get. But in my opinion it's worth it because the food is so delicious. It's at a good location and old Mandeville with good service.
