This café is super yummy however is slightly expensive for what you get. But in my opinion it's worth it because the food is so delicious. It's at a good location and old Mandeville with good service.

Let's just get it out of the way, hands down best Eggs Benedict menu I have ever had. Taste, presentation, portion, just perfection. Why not a 5 rating? Glasses went empty every time before refills and the price is high for breakfast. As in can't get out the door for less $10 and that is ordering the cheap stuff with... More

We have been here many times. Even bringing Australian visitors. I usually get Eggs Sardou or an omlette. Always good. But two weeks ago we went later than usual so I ordered half of a sandwich and a salad. First they brought potatoes instead of my salad. I sent it back, big mistake. I had ordered Italian salad. Well, it... More

Visited Broken Egg Cafe with family for a mid-week brunch. The menu offers a vast array of choices with a unique twist and their Gourmet Biscuits and Homemade Jam was yummy. Our party enjoyed dishes from savory to sweet. Wholesome food for Foodies served by caring staff in an early 1920's Summer house. As boutique innkeepers, we delight in a... More

Visited on a cool fall Sunday morning. Eggs Benedict and Fountainbleu Omelet were divine. Was crowded but we chose to sit outside at the "first come, first serve" table seating. There was a bar set up on the porch for bloody mary and mimosa drinks. Free coffee if we had chosen to wait for an inside table. Truly delicious and... More

Neat place outside eating on perfect days. Food was good, the atmosphere is so much more than their chain places. Of course it was a beautiful day and we ate outside which was delightful.

Very wide range of breakfast entrees to choose from - all excellent - in a cozy, quaint renovated old lake house from the 1800s. Quality, well-schooled service. It's a favorite local eatery, especially for Sunday Brunch, so expect a long wait. Coffee, juices and cocktails are available on the porch while you wait (along with newspapers, and some seating). The... More

We had a family meal here a few days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The call-ahead system is a good way to avoid long queues as the cafe is very busy at weekends. Our party sample a crab omelette, fried potatoes, pancakes and a bacon/avocdao omelette. My only small complaint would be that the pancakes were fried in oil and... More

I find it offensive that this restaurant is listed as Another Broken Egg Cafe, when it is the ORIGINAL Broken Egg Cafe. At any rate, the Broken Egg is located on Girod Street in a charming historic house with outdoor seating. Any of the omelets involving seafood are delicious, as I can personally attest to the taste of all of... More

BETTER than Another Broken Egg and we love another broken egg. Menu was very similar and we ordered the same things we get at another broken egg. Somehow they were better here! Ingredients seemed fresher! Higher quality for sure!
