Great pies Ok food

Saw a billboard for this place off of I-10. Several miles off the interstate. Menu is simple. Whatever three food items the server tells you they have. I had the ham plate with green beans and their rice dressing. Ham was nothing to write home about. Rice dressing was totally bland but the Green... read more

The pie at Lea's is well worth a slight detour off the interstate. I have had all the pies, but I think the blueberry is my favorite. A must try..

Our tour group had lunch here and no one was happy with their meal. It would have been better if they had offered a sandwich. The pie was a little under baked, and although they put ice cream on the apple pie - they forget to warm the pie.

On our way home from a weekend trip, we felt like you find a sweet treat, so we dropped by Lea's Lunchroom. They are famous for their their homemade pies. I had cherry and she had pecan. They were the best!! It's easy to see why they are famous and have been around so long. We also saw folks getting... More

It seems that every time I eat here I am disappointed. Last Saturday morning we drove down hoping for a nice breakfast. The hash brown potatoes tasted like they were freezer burned and the toast was cold and hard like the bread that had been sitting out for a day and was already hard when cooked. The meal was almost... More

A little pricey, but the food is good. The ham sandwich is out of this world. The pie is amazing. It tastes homemade and all four flavors we tried were good. The apple and banana are especially delicious. If you can go into it expecting to pay for a unique experience and some delicious food, you'll have a good time.... More

Glad we stopped in. Although we only shared a piece of chocolate pie - it was heavenly. We were traveling through, so also enjoyed their little used book area - was able to grab a new read for only $2!

Sandwiches and pie that's about it. A daily special as well. Kind of pricey for sandwiches and pie. I find the pies are average (not as good as homemade). A lot of talk about their pies and I'm sure back in the day they were much better. A lot of hype for average.

Bought two pies from here today. Good, but not worth $20.00 a piece. Bought an apple pie and a pecan pie. They were both good, not better than any one I or my grandma or mother would make.

Their pie's are simply out of this world! We've had several of their pie's and have not had a bad one yet. Freshly prepared, Service with a smile - restaurant is quiet, neat and clean. They offer shipping service, pie's can be sent out as gifts, etc....
