Great atmosphere. I have been here 3 times for dinner so decided to try lunch. They have a weekday daily special which is basically a sampler of entrée, veg, naan bread, appetizer, salad, lentil soup. Great presentation -- love the food. Good value, great service.

I have been eating at Masala Indian Kitchen for years! I also have traveled a lot and have eaten at Indian restaurants all over! So now, I can honestly say, that Masala tops them all! Yes, in Lafayette, LA, again, we have the best food - even Indian food! The lunch special is a DEAL!! Dinner is always lovely! I... More

I live 1 1/2 hours from Masala. My husband and I try to get out that way every 2-3months. It's a special treat for us. We love their food. Never had a poor dining experience. Excellent wait staff. Deserts are a treat for the mouth and the eye. We shall keep coming back. Their chicken tikka masala is excellent. Their... More

Every time I come to LFT on business, I make it a point to eat here. The food is just phenomenal and the staff is just as good!! The very nice young woman who waited on us provided a great overview of her favorites, made recommendations based on our input and we had an amazing meal! Can't go wrong on... More

The owner of this place is a doctor and comes into the place all the time to visit with the customers. He will sit at your table and chat, bring out samples for you to try and even order your dinner for you if you let him. All the staff are required to sample everything on the menu before they... On arrival, the incense is a little over powering and that is absolutely my only negative comment. The server was delightful! She made wonderful suggestions from the menu. The special was Lamb Oso Bucco and it was amazing. We were a party of 4 - our food was served family style so we could all experience the flavors. We had... More

Love this place. Awesome selection for vegetarians and vegans. The lamb is the best I am told. Eat here a lot.

Get the chicken tikka masala! It is delicious. I enjoy the butter chicken also. This is definitely a place I was hesitant to try, but now I am happy I did because it is one of my favorite spots in Lafayette. The desserts are also amazing. They bring them out for you to see at the end beforehand so they are... More

The oveewhelming scent of incense RUINED the meal! The server admitted that the owner had decided to "burn lots of incense" I explained I have asthma and asked them to stop burning it but the smell actually got stronger! The meal tasted like incense, just awful!

Was there on a business trip craving Indian! The waiter was an older man that needs to retire not very friendly but anyway we were there for the food and I must say Baton Rouge Indian restaurants taste a whole lot better than at Masala. Bay Leaf , Curry n Kebabs and Indian restaurant on Essen serves delicious Indian foods.... More
