In the area of Cameron st today and stopped by for a quick business lunch. I eat out for lunch 3-4 days a week and don't know how I missed this place. Service was super quick and friendly. I had the fried chicken with the trimmings. Felt like my grandmothers house. Delicious. I'm putting this place into our lunch rotation.... More

I've eaten at both locations and love the food. The location on Pinhook is closer to work so I go to this one most often. Good, comfort food and plenty of it. There's a large variety on the menu. The fried pork chop is delicious and the Mac and cheese is the best around. I also suggest the meatball stew,... More

This place is legendary ! The owners parents were two of the first restaurant owners in Lafayette in the 1930s. The menu includes family recipes and tastes like your grandmothers cooking. The best hamburgers, red beans, chicken stew, crawfish etoufee your gonna find. TRULY GREAT FOOD ! Casual atmosphere and good service. My staff and I eat here at least... More

I've been stopping by this Lafayette location at exit 115 on I-10 in Louisiana for 15 years and I always order the seafood gumbo. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry, I take it to go and literally drink it on the run. Oysters, shrimp, a thick rich dark roux over rice. They used to put okra in it, which I... More

I will not be choosing Landrys ever again. The waitress was OK a little weeded out it seemed...very short and not very knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the hamburger steaks with gravy mashed potatoes and okra...the meat was OK...I've had better but I will do if you're hungry the mashed potatoes were absolutely deplorable they tasted like instant potatoes... Enjoyed a stop here on the way back from a day of shopping in Baton Rouge. Would easily eat at a Landry's again!

Food was delicious...waitress was rude! We had to get our own menus, silverware, tea refills. They were not busy. We sat down at the only clean table (only about 4 were occupied) and waited at least 12 minutes before the waitress could even be bothered enough to take our drink orders. When she brought our orders, we still needed utensils.... More

The person ranting about creole is mistaking us for landrys seafood house. We are not associated with that business at all.

I had the most relaxing and enjoyable time at Landry's Cafe on Pinhook. While walking into the resturant, I was taken back with rustic origin of canjun flare. The staff made me feel so welcomed with their happy smiles and friendly greetings. I ordered chicken spaghetti, yes, "Chicken Spaghetti", it was heaven. The chicken was so tender it melted like... Louisiana Restaurant that doesn't know the difference between Creole and Bisque that is listed on their lunch menu. Ridiculous. I was astounded when I ordered cup of Bisque and half Shrimp poor boy and received Creole. I was sure they had made a mistake, until the manager came over and explained that, that is how they make it. It's really... More
