Great pastries and also a great selection of home made items such as pickled garlic and okra. Great cakes and pies for special occasions.

I have been eating at Pouparts for at least 40 years, it was always a treat while visiting my grandparents. They have the best french pastries and breads this side of Paris. My favorite memory is these little mice cookies we would get as treats. I can't wait to go back soon.

When you walk in, your stomach will start growling from the aromas. Be careful because you will be back. Again and again.

This jewel has been on Pinhook Road since I was a child, we always stopped in to fill a box with sweet treats to continue an adventure further south. Located just pass Hotel Acadiana, Poupart's Bakery is such a treasure. Their prices are right and staff is knowledgable and most helpful. We were surprised to find fantastic breakfast savory treats... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent baked products, sweet and savory. Interesting local items, and if they are in season the MG King cakes are outstanding. Also great for picnic items.

We like to take our kids to Pouparts after mass on Sundays to let them pick out pastry if they behaved well. All the pies and cakes and pastries we have ever had were amazing. The fresh baked bread is also amazing. Very large selection of bread and pastries.

We had an assortment of pastries that were terrific. Coffee was decent but nothing special.....but the pastries we're melt in your mouth good!

Our last stop, for dessert, on the Cajun Food Tour was the sweetest -- pun intended. Coffee and King Cake, which is the best in the city if not all of LA! We also picked up some French Cream Horns, too. The best I ever ate. Period. Poupart Bakery is a dream come true if you're into fresh baked goods,... More

During a recent visit to Lafayette, I passed by Poupart's and decided to stop in for a look see. The cases are filled with fine pastries and cakes as well as breads. I purchased two beignets, a French Horn, raspberry croissant and a Biscuit stuffed with cheese. A nice selection that came to $10. Definitely on the high end. The... More
