What a waste of $17.30 for me(solo) to have a sloppy lunch. I saw the high ratings and reviews on TripAdvisor so I was excited to stop in for lunch. When I walked in around 1:25pm I asked if they were still serving lunch. The lady who helped me yelled to the back, "hey, we still serving lunch?", and then... More

This bakery has been around a long time. Because it is that good! Lots of variety, including fresh baked breads. We love their fruit tarts. A wonderful selection of desserts, there is something for everyone. A must-see stop when in Lafayette, La. We ordered a birthday cake, red velvet and it was talked about for days afterwards how good it... More

We stopped by for a late lunch, but lunch service ends at 2PM, so we didn't get to try their lunch offerings. We did however return a couple of times for sweets (Macadamia cookies and the much touted Beignets). Both were yummy. They had a great selection of all kinds of sweets, so if you are in the mood for... More

This was an oasis within walking distance of our hotel. We went back a couple of times during our visit to Lafayette. We especially liked the tiramisu. I think this is a "must do" if you visit Lafayette.

Not busy when we arrived. Someone asked me what I wanted then left the counter with no return. Waited quite some time before someone actually assisted. They Pastries were just OK-nothing to write home about. Not worth another stop for me.

This is a wonderful bakery. Everything is very well made and looks amazing. Honestly, everything looked great and it took me a while to decide. I have been to France and many French bakery's and Poupart Bakery is right up there!

We read the great reviews about this bakery so we decided to visit the original place. On Sundays, the day we visited they don't serve food so you can only buy desserts, bread and they have some ready made sandwiches We bought a chicken salad sandwich and some desserts. The sandwich was ok but soggy, the creme brûlée was ok,but not the... More

I have had lunch at Pouparts many times. You can get it to go, or eat at one of the tables inside. There is nothing bad on their menu. They have corn and crab bisque everyday, with another soup special each day. I usually get a cup of soup with half a sandwich or small salad. It's about $10. Crab... More

This place is simply fantastic! There are two locations, one downtown and one on Pinhook. Visitors need to know that the Pinhook location is the original and where all the actual baking is done. I think the pastries are baked at Pinhook and then brought downtown, which is great, but sometimes the downtown location is out of the strawberry delights,... More
