My mom would walk here from college in the 40's. Love that it's still here and that we could bring her for some reminiscing. I had the Elmer's Gold Brick sundae. My husband and daughter loved their chocolate malts.

My sister and I found this restaurant while I was searching for another restaurant! We went and we got a hotdog cheese ice cream! This little older style restaurant is a great place to visit if you are looking for a light lunch and a snack!

Since Bordens was purchased by a local it has changed for the best. They make real malts and shakes and sodas. Ice cream and sherbet. Ahh so nice in the summer heat.

I love Borden's ice cream. I have been coming here for years. I actually bring my friends here from out of town. They always love the ice cream. Great place to come with family as well

This ice cream pallor is so true to the old time ice crea & soda shop you do not see any signs that they accept credit cards. They do but no stickers on the doors or cash register. Malts, sodas, shakes and sundays. Just like when I was a kid. Ask the soda jerks the names of the Borden's cows.... More

Never been to a Borden's and don't know how widespread they were but apparently this is the last in existence so we thought it would be cool. As soon as you walk in the dairy smell hits you. Reminds me of a dairy from my youth. Never forgot that smell. Loved that they had some old school decor and stuff... More

Borden's is small, quaint, and has awesome ice cream. I believe it is the last of its kind in the country. They have added a few other food items, but I only go there for my favorite Black Walnut in a cone. If I really want to splurge, I get a Black Walnut sundae with walnut topping. YUMMY!!

Old time ice cream shop! It's the location and atmosphere that makes the whole place! So great! You can also have coffee and other things besides ice cream.

We love to stop here after a movie and have an ice cream cone with the kids. We like the old Diner style.
