We were told this was a good place for listening to cajun music and see folks dancing there, and food was optional. But we sat and had the food. We liked it: we can say it was the best cajun food we tried in Lafayette but we only tried two places so it's not saying much. The dance space across... More

This was just what my family and I were hoping for - great, traditional Cajun food and LIVE music! The music started at 7:00 on the Thursday night we went so we got there about 6:30 to be seated in time; we were seated right away. We had some trouble deciding what to get as everything looked so good! We... More

Big crawfish with really good spice. The meal comes with corn, potatoes and sausage. I don't know what kind of sausage it was, but it was very very tasty. They also have a dance floor and live zydeco bands. The only negative.....they advertise all over the place, including the Louisiana Welcome Center, but fail to mention that they don't open... More

We went there on recommendation from the front desk person at our hotel. My husband was especially anxious for fresh crawfish and he was not disappointed! We were lucky enough to get there during a discount time for the crawfish boil. He said they were some of the best crawfish he'd ever eaten. I had a shrimp platter and it... More

We wanted to experience this place, but we had eaten too much before we arrived. The staff was very considerate, and even though the "minimum" was one entree per person after six o'clock, they said it would be ok to just have an appetizer and dessert. The bechamel crab cake was excellent and the cinnamon bread pudding was even better.... More

If you are interested in seeing and experiencing cajun music than come here. The food is great and you can see people dancing to cajun music.

No seasoning,or little seasoning in food. For some reason this restaurant thinks tourist like bland ,boring food. Embarrasing for our area to serve food like this. There is good music there, and dancing.

I can't stand the smell of rotting seafood shells in the parking lot. The food is okay, but I can't stand the atmosphere. The Cajun music is too loud.

It is the ONE place to go to experience a "fais dodo" restaurant.

A Lafayette native took us here and we had a great time. Their chicken sausage gumbo was really good as was the seafood gumbo. The Randol Redfish was cooked perfectly but it could have been a bit spicier. I wasn't expecting to get a fried crabcake on top of it either. That was rather oily. Crawfish is in season and... More
