Description: We may not take ourselves seriously, but we always take our food...
We may not take ourselves seriously, but we always take our food seriously. Generic is our mortal enemy.A truly American restaurant always has an opinion. At Zea, we state ours confidently, unapologetically and with a little swagger and laughter. Maybe it's our New Orleans roots, but we know good food. And our personalities are as bold as our menu items are flavorful. As with most lovable southerners, what you see is what you get at Zea. That simply tends to be a lot of extraordinary. Go ahead - try anything on the menu. And don't worry; you'll be hungry again in a few days, inspiring you to come back and try something new.

Dinner in Lafayette

Attentive waiter. Seated at once on a Thursday evening. Good food if you can pass on all the local restaurants available in Lafayette. Just felt like hummus tonight.

The food and the service are consistently good, and if there is every any small problem with your food the management is highly responsive. The menu has a wide selection of everything: appetizers, salads, meats, seafood, ethnic dishes, Louisiana dishes, side dishes, desserts and specialty drinks. Some of my favorite dishes are: Asian Almond Shrimp (delicately fried shrimp in a... More

Great service, excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. Great place for date night, and also a good spot for a group. The duck empanadas were great, Thai ribs are spot on, and the veal is awesome! Hope you enjoy!

We have visited Zea's on at least 20 occasions over the last 3 years. We have brought friends, family and out of the country visitors. You can never go wrong with their Mediterranean Hummus and Rotisserie chicken. If you don't arrive early you may have a small wait time but they have seating areas outside where you can enjoy a... My husband and I like to go for lunch on Saturdays or Sunday. There are lunch specials plus their regular menu. Their Thai ribs and Thai sugar snap beans are wonderful, but one of the highlights of their menu is their sweet potato bread pudding. It is out of this world and a very popular dish there.

This place is outstanding in all categories. The food is fresh and deliciously prepared. I'm always at a loss as to what to order because every dish is so good.

Some friends and I visited before prom in April. It was most of our 1st time. I really enjoyed the food and the place was very nice. Only problem was the waitress. She was kind of rude. Other than that... it was an awesome experience.

Zea's is a chain restaurant but has a decent selection of food. The corn grits are delicious! A must try! The ribs are really good - we prefer both Thai and dry rub styles. There is a different meat special each day which you can also get during lunch service. The Mac and cheese is also really good, a favorite... More

The food here is always good and the ambience and service nice. The prices are more than other places but that makes this a special event type place. Try it and be pleased.
